Edwin ~ Red Dress

Inspired by Red Dress by MAGIC!

You should really listen to it.

Edwin scrolls through Instagram waiting on you to pick an outfit. You've tried on most of the dresses in your closet, not finding one that fits the occasion. You stumble across a red dress you've had for years and decide to slip it on. It was perfect.

"Come on Ma! We're going to be late!" Edwin yells from downstairs.

"Almost ready!" You rush around looking for your heels.

You and Edwin's schedules have been extra crazy. You had a big client come in a week ago and you have been running around for them. Edwin had been staying at the studio all day since you weren't home, not wanting to be bored.

You come flying downstairs. "Alright, you ready?@"

Edwin's jaw dropped. He was in awe.

"You look stunning. That dress is wow." He wrapped his arm around your waist.

"Thanks Ed. But we have dinner reservations." You kiss him before dragging him out to the car.

"Ladies first," he opens the car door for you.

"Such a gentleman Edwin." You smile as you get in the car.

He kisses your hand. "Anything for my girl."

You feel yourself blush as he closes the door. He gets in the car and backs out of the driveway.

At the restaurant, Edwin helps you out of the car before giving the valet your keys. He holds the door open for you before wrapping his hand protectively around your waist.

"Last name please." The hostess pays more attention to Edwin.

"Um Y/L/N." You tell her before scooting closet to Edwin.

She gives you a look before looking it up.

"Right this way." She grabs two menus before walking away.

"You're more beautiful than she is." Edwin whispers you.

You smile at him before sitting down in the chair he pulled out for you.

"Enjoy." She winks at him.

You grip his hand tightly as she says that. She finally walks away.

"Hey, you're all that I need." Edwin tells you.

"Thanks Eddy." You loosen your grip on his hand.

As the waiter brings out the dessert, it's obvious that Edwin is having a hard time focusing on his food.

"Finish up your plate babe." You whisper to him.

He finishes his plate in under 5 minutes. You were amazed. Edwin quickly pays for the meal before dragging you out to the car.

It's going to be one hell of a night. You think to yourself.
