Trying out 3rd person POV...

She hadn't been in Brandon's arms in months. That's all She could think about.

She came home to her and Brandon's empty apartment. Her eyes dart around hoping for a sign of Brandon's presence. Nothing. Tossing her bag on the floor, she heads straight for bed.

In the room, pictures of her and Brandon litter the walls. His side of the bed is still perfectly made the way he left it months ago. She goes into one of his drawers and pull out a shirt. After pulling it over her body, she crawls into his side of the bed messing it up. His scent takes over the pillows and blankets. She  stare up at the ceiling as tears filled her eyes.

"I miss him." She whispers.

Brandon tosses and turns in his bunk. All he could think about was her. He missed being able to hold her as she fell asleep. The way she lightly played with his hair.

He stares up at the bottom of the top bunk. Thoughts of Y/N flash through Brandon's head. He hated leaving her for this long. Not being able to see her beautiful face broke him. Brandon continued to think about her. Tears started to fill his eyes. He sets his glasses beside him as the tears begin to fall.

"I miss her." He whispers.

It was now 1 am. She still hasn't fallen asleep. She couldn't stop thinking about him. She didn't care what time it was, she had to hear his voice.

After finding her phone, she clicks his contact. The phone rings.

Brandon couldn't take it anymore. It was 1 am and he couldn't stop thinking about her. He picks up his phone, knowing she was probably sleeping, but still searched her contact. Before hitting call, his phone starts buzzing. Her name flashes across his screen. He wastes no time answering.

"Brandon, I fucking miss you." Her voice cracks.

He felt his heart drop when he heard her voice. "Baby, I miss you too. I can't stop thinking about you."

She holds back tears on the other line. "How much longer?"

"Two weeks." I sniff.

"That's so long." Her voice fades.

"I know baby, but we can do it. We're strong."

"It's late, why aren't you asleep?" Her voice fills with concern. "It sounds like you've been crying."

"I should be asking you the same thing y/n. But I was thinking about how much I miss you." My mood lightens up.

"Same here. I'm currently laying on your side of the bed."

"You mean you haven't been this whole time?"

"I didn't want to mess it up." She admits.

I let out a soft chuckle. "Y/N, I love you."

"I love you too Brandon."

They talk on the phone until they fall asleep on the phone.
