Surprise, a dog~ Zion; requested

Hello, I'm back.

This was literally requested back in October and I'm so sorry I'm just now writing it. This is one of many of these so yeah.

I quickly shut the back door behind me as I make sure no one else is in the room except Austin.

"Austin, I bought a dog." I lean against the back dorr.

He nearly chokes on his drink. "You did what?"

"It was an in the moment thing."

"Kayla! Have you told Zion?" Austin walks to the door.

"Surprise, you're the first to know." I sheepishly smile.

Austin begins to give me the 'oh you're screwed look'.

"Don't look at me like thattttt."  I press against the door.

"So what are you going to tell Zion? Don't tell him what you just told me."

"Dude I don't know! Why do you think I'm coming to you?!" I throw my hands up.

"You really chose the wrong person."

"After being friends with you all these years, you'd think I would've learned this." I glance at the garage door as Zion and Brandon walk in. "Well shit."

Austin quickly turns his head and looks back at me and starts laughing. "Hey  Z."

I smack Austin's arm.

"Yeah?" Zion answers from the living room.

"Kayla has something to tell you." Austin keeps a smile plastered on his face.

I smack him repeatedly.

"Hey babe, didn't know you were here."  Zion lifts my chin up to kiss me.

When he pulls away, the puppy runs to the door. Austin sees this and moves in front of it.

"Yeah, a friend dropped me off." I smile.

"So what was it?" Z asks.

"Oh, just wanted to tell you I have-" The puppy starts barking from behind Austin, causing all attention towards her.

"Is that a puppy?" Zion rushes to the door.

Austin looks at me surprised as I do to him. I shrug my shoulders before Zion turns back around.

"You got a puppy?" He smiles.

"Uh yeah, I got a puppy. For us." I rub my neck.

Zion's face lights up even more as I say that. He drags me out back to play with the puppy.

"What's her name?" He sits down on the patio ground.

"I haven't named her yet." I laugh as she pounces on Zion. "But I want to name her Daisy Mae."

Zion stares at me for a few seconds. "Can we just call her Daisy?"

I groan. "Yeah, I guess."

"Bet. So here official name is Daisy Mae..."

"Kuwonu babe. She's our pup." I smile and lean against his arm.
