"Y/N quit complaining," Y/BFF/N tightens your skate for you. "You'll be fine. I'll stay with you the whole time."

She stands up and holds her hand out to help you. After finally agreeing to stop complaining, you take her hand and follow her to the entrance.

"Y/BFF/N, you cannot let me fall." You cautiously step on to the ice.

"Y/N, i said i won't. By the way, there's a wall for you to hold onto too. If you put all your weight on me, we'll both go down." She laughs.

You hug the wall tightly and squeeze your bestie's hand.

A few minutes pass and you two had only conquered half of the rink.

"I think you've got it now." Y/BFF/N completely stops.

"Are you sure? I think- Oh no." You say as Y/BFF/N drops your hand.

"Come on, you can do it." She takes off, thinking you'll follow behind.

You try your hardest to catch up with her without busting. You only get a few feet from where you began before you feel you feet slip out from under you.

When you fall, you happened to bump into a rather cute guy who was passing and brought him down with you.

"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry." You quickly turn to the boy.

He laughs as he effortlessly pulls himself up. "Don't be," he holds his hand out. "Let me help you up beautiful."

You slightly blush as you take his hand. "Thank you."

"No problem. So, what's your name?"

"Oh," You dust the ice off of your jacket. "I'm Y/N."

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl. I'm Austin."

"Well Austin, I guess I made a really good first impression." You joke.

"Definitely a memorable one." He laughs "So are you-"

"Y/N! Sorry for- oh." Y/BFF/N stops beside you. "Who's this?"

"I'm Austin." He waves.

"Well, I'm Y/BFF/N, Y/N's best friend who's now going to leave you two alone. I'll meet you back at the apartment." She skates off.

"Sorry about that." You glance down.

"Don't be, my group is worse." Austin looks around. "I know we just kinda met and all, but would you want to grab a hot chocolate or something?"

You slightly smile. "I'd love to."

You and Austin start making your way to the entrance. As you're making your way through the people, you start to lose your balance.

Austin quickly grabs your hand to keep you balanced. "Woah there."

"Thanks. I'm kinda bad at this ice skating thing." You giggle.

"I'm not the best either. My friends are way better." Austin stops at the rink entrance to let you out first.

"Oh really? Where are they?" You make your way to your locker.

"Let's see." Austin stops at the row of lockers beside yours. "Well, Zion is the one who's talking up you friend currently. Oh, and Brandon, Nick, and Edwin just passed the entrance right there." He points to them.

"They look nice." You place your skates by your feet.

"Depends on the situation." He jokes. "But enough about them, I want to know more about the amazing Y/N." Austin slips on his vans.

"There's really nothing to me." You grab your bag and skates.

"So you don't do anything with your free time?" Austin places both of your skates onto the rack.

"Ok no. I guess there's a little more to me than I thought." You wave you Y/BFF/N as you walk away with Austin.

"Do tell, I'm dying to know."

You laugh. "Well..."

The two of you talked the whole way to the coffee shop and a few hours at the coffee shop. Before going your separate ways, Austin made sure you both exchanged numbers because he said he wanted to know more about the amazing Y/N.
