I sat stone faced amongst the group of screaming boys, listening as they talked about Theadore, the boy who attacked me. They had put me in a chair at the front of the room next to Alby to talk about what happened. I didn't even get two words out when the debating started.

"Shut it you bloody shanks!" Newt yelled out into the room.

"Here's a fine idea, how 'bout we listen to what Carina has to say instead 'a arguing 'bout it," Minho waved his hands in the air like a crazy person as he spoke. The room became quiet as all eyes landed on me. I stared at the floor, trying to figure out what had happened in my own mind.

"Thank you, Minho. Carina, tell us what happened," Alby demanded. I was silent for a moment before taking in a long breath.

"Zart told me to go get soil for the garden, so I went into the woods. I was almost done when I heard someone come up behind me," I paused and gulped. "I thought it was Newt or Zart coming to help me, so I didn't think much of it," I glanced over at Newt. He looked down, sadly. "But then I turned around and saw that it was Theadore. I turned and ran, but he caught up and tackled me. I tried to scream, but he covered my mouth as he attempted...to remove my shirt but ended up ripping it. I was able to get my hand free and punch him in the nose, making him let go of me momentarily and I was able to run out of the trees. I screamed, he tackled me again, and Newt got him off of me. That's the end of it," I told the group, feeling very uncomfortable about the story.

"Okay, okay, I have come to a decision," Alby announced. The room was quiet as everyone waited for Alby's decision. "Theadore will be banished tonight. And anyone that ever tries to touch Carina again without her consent, will be banished immediately."

We stood at the east door, watching as the sun was starting to set. This meant the doors would close soon. Newt was standing on one side of me while Minho was standing on the other, both of them holding long wooden poles. I had my arms wrapped around my body in attempt to shield myself from everyone else as I stared straight ahead.

There was a sudden commotion coming from the slammer as Theadore was dragged out to the doors. His nose was swollen and bruised with dry blood right under it from where Newt and I punched him. He stared at me as Gally and Alby dragged him to the doors. They dropped him in front of the doors and all of the keepers held their poles out to him, pushing him into the maze as the doors started to squeak shut.

"Carina!" Theadore screamed. "Carina! I'm sorry! Please, don't let them kill me," he cried. I looked up at him, watching as tears brimmed his eyes. I felt no mercy for this man as he had felt no mercy for me. I would not show him mercy now. Not as he is about to be pushed into the maze.

"Push him in!" Alby yelled. The keepers walked forward, pushing their long wooden sticks on Theadore. As the gap between glade and maze got smaller, Theadore tried ever harder to escape. He begged Alby, claiming that it wasn't his fault and every male naturally wanted me. I grimaced at this claim, glaring at the boy. Not all men are animals.

"Please!" Theadore turned to me once again. "Don't let them kill me!" He begged, pleading through his eyes. I walked up beside Minho, staring straight at Theadore.

"You killed yourself," I told him, calmly, with a blank look. His shoulders slumped as he realized I hadn't fallen for his little tricks.

"Get him in!" Gally yelled out. All of the keepers obeyed, pushing Theadore into the maze. He ran through the closing doors so that he didn't get squished. He whimpered as he stared at the circle of boys with me being right in the middle. He stared at me, letting out one final scream until the doors shut on him forever.
