Third-person point of view
Classes have now commenced. Ginka Asano sat at her desk, twirling her pen between her fingers.
She was used to fast-paced, high-pressure lectures in the main building, where teachers droned through lessons at a breakneck speed, expecting students to either keep up or be left behind. But here.. this was different.
Korosensei zipped around the room, pointing out key details in the lesson with exaggerated enthusiasm. "Now, my dear students! Notice how the equation simplifies when you factor it properly!"
Ginka jotted down notes, her brows furrowed. Was it really supposed to be this simple?
It wasn't that the material was any easier—rather, the way Korosensei explained it made it click. He slowed down when students looked confused, repeated concepts in different ways, and even tailored explanations based on who he was teaching.
Back at the main campus, it was all about results. Efficiency. Fear. Here, there was actual learning happening. For the first time in a while, Ginka didn't feel like she was drowning just trying to keep up. It was almost.. refreshing.
At this rate, her goal of getting into A Class won't be such a far-fetched dream.
As class ended and the lunch bell rang, Korosensei clapped his tentacles together. "Excellent work, everyone! Now go forth and refuel! Remember, a well-fed mind is a well-functioning mind!"
Ginka barely had time to stand up before she was immediately surrounded.
"Seiun-chan! I mean—Asano-san! Wait, what do we even call you?!" Kurahashi Hinano practically bounced in place, eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Asano, Ginka, Seiun, or whatever, you may call me as you wish~"
Maehara smirked, crossing his arms. "Man, if the guys in the main campus knew we were sitting next to the Seiun, they'd lose their minds."
"I'd rather not give them that satisfaction~" Ginka replied with a playful grin.
Kataoka chuckled, leaning against a nearby desk. "It must be a big change for you, though. I imagine the main building's got a totally different vibe."
Ginka sighed dramatically, flipping her hair over her shoulder. "Oh, you have no idea. You'd think learning was some kind of high-stakes death match over there. But this? I'm practically on vacation."
