Third person point of view

The office was silent, save for the steady ticking of the clock. Ginka stood her ground, expression unreadable as she processed her father's decree.

For a brief second, the weight of it nearly crushed her.

Class E. The place she had unknowingly fought for. The very students she had defended—now she was to become one of them.

Ginka straightened, eyes steady as they met Gakuho's.

"...I accept."

This would serve as another opportunity for her to prove them wrong, to save them from their destructive thinking.

A sharp inhale from her twin brother. He did not share the same feeling. "Aneki?!" Gakushu snapped, whirling toward her. "You—do you even understand what you're saying?"

Ginka did not look at him.

Her father gave her a challenge. And so, she would accept it. Because if she backed down now... Then she really would be as weak as they thought she was.

Gakushu took a step forward, voice low with barely restrained anger. "As if siding with them wasn't enough, you're actually willing to live among those failures? Do you not realize how this will tarnish your reputation? Our name?"

Finally, she turned to him, smiling just enough to be condescending. "You speak as if I had a choice."

Gakushu's hands clenched at his sides. "I refuse to accept this. Father, this is unreasonable!"

Gakuho sighed, shaking his head as if already bored. "Then perhaps you should have kept her in line. That's what pawns are good for. Have I not taught you enough?

He stiffened.

"Do you think this should go unpunished, Asano-kun?" his father continued, voice sharp. "Rules are rules. Or is your judgment clouded simply because she is your sister?"

Gakushu opened his mouth—then closed it.

He knew the answer. And he hated it.

Clearly, violence is one of the school regulations that immediately lands you a place in E Class. It is known to everyone so it would be strange if Ginka doesn't demoted after what she did, regardless being the Board Chairman's daughter. That would just make the policies into some sick joke.
