"Do you remember anything from that night?"
Jason thought about the question before responding. "No."
Chloe was outside the room as the officers only wanted to speak to Jason. She was standing close to the door, where she was able to see their backs through the small glass window.
"We administered the breathalyzer test. You were drinking--and driving. I'm pretty sure that you're old enough to know that that's illegal." The officer in suit stated.
"I wasn't--" Jason then paused.
"What was that?" The officer cocked his brow.
"--nothing."
"Mr. Santee, we spoke to your parents and they were shocked to hear what happened."
He looked away, avoiding their gaze.
"Have you done this kind of thing before?"
"No I haven't." He slightly snapped. He was getting frustrated.
"I'm going to kindly ask you to watch your tone." The other officer spoke up.
Jason sighed in frustration.
"You know what could have happened? You could have gotten somebody hurt, or even killed. Do you have any idea--?"
"I--know--" He was about to snap again, but he stopped himself. He then exhaled.
"You're lucky to be alive."
"--you have no idea." Jason muttered through gritted teeth.
"We will be sending another officer over here shortly." He then gestured to the other officer for them to leave. "We will be in touch Mr. Santee."
Jason didn't respond. He watched them leave before sighing once more in frustration.
Chloe watched as the officers exited the room. She avoided their gaze by looking away. After they turned the corner, she went into the room. She saw anger painted across his face. He slammed his fist multiple times against the bed, making Chloe flinch. He exhaled once more, resting against the pillows.
"I wasn't drinking--" He quietly stated. "I wasn't."
Chloe nodded. "I know."
"I'm going to be charged for this--for something I didn't even do." He expressed in aggression.
Chloe approached him and placed her hand on his. He somehow relaxed; exhaling before closing his eyes.
The door then opened, and they both turned their heads to see Paige enter.

Brian and Collin were upstairs at Rose Café. It was somewhat packed, but they were able to find a table for themselves. Brian had his markers out, writing on the cartridge paper, while Collin was cutting out pictures from old books and newspapers.
"Hopefully, we'll get a good grade for this." Collin stated, turning the newspaper he had upside down. He was looking at the puzzle section where some answers were.
"Agreed." He said, switching markers.
Collin then looked at what Brian was doing. "Wow."
He looked up at him. "Is it OK?"
He nodded with a smile. "Yeah. Even better than what I would have tried to do."
Brian laughed. "Right."
"I'm way more confident about this now."
Brian smiled once more. "Well, we'll still need those papers."
