"She did it to herself Jason." Chloe informed him, which left him speechless.
It was the next day; Friday to be exact, and Chloe had gathered everyone at the parking lot. This included: Miley, Aiden, Brian, Jason, Paige, Dominic, and Justin. It was early in the morning, and school was about to begin.
"I don't believe you." Jason muttered.
"Why did she do it?" Miley asked her.
"Why did you do this to yourself?" Chloe asked Lana.
"I'm not crazy." She muttered. "I just wanted it to end."
"What?"
"The pain. The anger I felt--towards my parents. Towards my father."
"Did he hurt you?"
She hesitantly nodded, as a tear streamed down her face. She then wiped it away. "I know you have a lot of questions but, I can't answer them for you. Not now."
"No no, don't worry about that." She drew closer to her. "You just worry about getting better OK?"
Lana nodded.
"After that, I got a text from Aiden telling me to get out of there, so I did."
Jason was still silent, trying to process what he had just heard.
"Oh my god." Miley muttered.
"She said I should tell you that she's sorry Jason. She never meant to hurt you."
"I don't want to hear it." He retorted.
"Jason, she needs us." Aiden said to him.
"If she wanted our help, she would never have done that to herself!" He exclaimed, which brought a few persons to stare at them. They looked around as their eyes met some of the stares.
"When will she be released?" Brian asked.
"I don't know, but judging by her condition, probably next week." Chloe answered.
"Next week is also Lana Banks' funeral." He then stated.
"Oh my god, I totally forgot about that." Paige muttered.
"We'll all be going though right?" Aiden asked.
"Yeah." Miley responded, and everyone else nodded except Jason.
"Jason?" Aiden called out.
The bell then rang, and everyone outside was approaching the building.
"I'll see you guys at class." He said before walking away.
Aiden sighed. "I'll talk to him."
"I'm coming too." Dominic said, and Aiden nodded before they followed him.
The others then followed behind as they approached the building.
