Lana made her way down the hall, trying her best to reach her final class on time. As she made a bend around the corner, she spotted Jason; standing at his locker. He was also getting ready for last period.

He glanced to the side, and spotted her. She stopped when their eyes met; still a good distance away from him. He then took out his last book and slightly slammed his locker shut before walking in her direction. He made sure to keep his distance, but she stepped right in front of him when he was close enough.

He scoffed. "Get out of my way."

"Can we please talk?" Lana pleaded.

He scoffed once more in disbelief. "Now you wanna talk?" He avoided looking into her eyes.

"I know you're angry with me but just let me explain--"

"Explain what, Lana?" He interjected. "That you're somehow involved with whatever happened to me that night? Are you seriously gonna explain everything?" He inquired before trying to walk away, but she held onto his shoulder and he stopped.

"Please Jason--"

He exhaled. He then turned around to face her. "The house--"

"What?" She shook her head.

"That night--you know I followed you. What is that place?"

"It's just an old house my parents own."

"Why were you there?"

"They asked me to check out the place."

"Why?" He asked slightly angry. "Why are your parents making you do their dirty work for them?"

She looked away, which made him scoff.

"Who was the person under the mask?"

She looked back at him.

"Was it you?" He stepped closer to her. She didn't reply. "Was it you?!" He shouted angrily; causing some eyes to be focused on him.

She flinched when he shouted; closing her eyes while a tear ran down her cheek. She then opened them, which were now watery, and exhaled.

He took a step back, looking at her in disbelief. "Stay away from me." He demanded bitterly before walking away.

She cried out to him but he ignored her and kept walking.

The final period ended and everyone was rushing out of their classes. Miley was the last person to leave the classroom, but when she did, she saw Chloe waiting for her.

"Hey." She greeted. "Haven't seen you since the day started."

"Yeah, sorry I couldn't make it to lunch. I was on tour duty."

Miley nodded, but then realized that someone else was with her. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see you there."

Justin smiled at her. "No need to apologize."

Chloe then interjected. "Miley, this is Justin. Justin, this is Miley."

"Hey." Justin greeted with a small wave.

She smiled back. "Hi, photographer." She stated, seeing the camera around him.

He smiled once more.

"Miley here is a newbie, just like you." Chloe informed him.

"Oh really?"

Miley nodded. "Yeah. I started a few weeks ago."
