"It's Saturday." Wren frowned, walking downstairs. "Why are you up so early?"

Brian was right behind him. He checked his phone for the time.

"It's literally 8:13pm. How is that early?"

Wren lightly scoffed with a smile. "Do you hear yourself?"

Brian chuckled at his response.

They entered the kitchen and Brian took a seat around the marble island. The kitchen itself was quite big, with marble counters and cupboards, and a window over the silver sink, which showed the view of their backyard.

"So why are you up so early?" Brian asked.

"I have a lecture at 10."

"On a Saturday?"

Wren nodded as he made his way over to the coffee maker. He got a cup from the cupboard and poured himself some coffee.

"What about you?" He paused. "Lemme guess---nothing."

Brian lightly chuckled. "I actually have a project to do today with a friend."

"A friend huh?" Wren teased, sipping his coffee.

Brian scratched his head nervously, and Wren studied his expression.

"Who is she?" He inquired.

Brian didn't respond. He looked away; avoiding his brother's gaze.

"Or he?" Wren added.

Brian calmly sighed, and his heart started racing. He suddenly felt a bit uncomfortable.

"So it is a 'he'."

"His name is Collin." He muttered.

Wren nodded slowly.

"Do you--like him?" Wren calmly asked.

Brian slowly nodded, keeping his head down. "Yeah."

"OK." Wren simply stated.

Brian was confused by how calm his brother was. He looked up at him. Wren noticed his sudden, confused stare.

"What?" He asked.

"You're--OK with this?" Brian furrowed his eyebrows.

Wren placed his cup on the island.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

Brian exhaled. "I just thought--"

"Look---you're my brother Brian." Wren interrupted. "If you like boys; you like boys. It's not something to make a big deal out of.  It's just who you are."

Brian was taken aback by what Wren said, but he then genuinely smiled, and Wren smiled back.

"Are you gonna tell mom and dad?"

"Ahh---I don't know yet."

Wren nodded before placing the empty cup in the sink. He then approached his brother.

"Well take your time. Think about it while you wash that out for me." Wren joked, ruffling Brian's hair before leaving the kitchen.

Brian simply shook his head and laughed. He got up and made his way over to the sink, but then his phone started ringing.

He reached into his pocket for it and checked the caller ID. It was a video call from Aiden.

"Aiden." Brian greeted.

"We have a problem."

Brian shook his head. "What kinda problem?"

Miley then came into frame.
