After exiting Marys Café we all head towards Archer's house. He is an only child living with his mother. His parents were divorced when Archer was just 6, so he doesn't actually miss his father, or so he told us.
But Archer's mom is pretty cool. She loves Cass and me like her own daughter and even let's us come over anytime we want. It's practically my second home and I usually crash at his whenever I have a fallout with my parents.
'Mom I am home! What have you cooked for me?' I shout out towards the kitchen. Archer's mom, also known as Barbara, always comes home during lunch breaks at office and makes some delicious homemade food because she believes it gives her some mother-son time. At least she tries.
Archer narrows his eyes at me 'That's my mom, bitch'
'Archer stop calling Isis names!' Barbara shouts from the kitchen 'No cursing in this house'
I stick my tongue out at Archer and high-five Cass. 'Hey Barbara, your son physically harassed me today!'
'Is that what I have taught to you about how to treat a women boy?' Barbara glares at Archer going onto full mom mode. Cass and I just snicker in the background.
'She is not even a women mom! She's an annoying little brat!' He dismisses Barbara.
I gasp loudly 'Okay then! Fine! If that's how you feel then OK! I will go away and never come back' I clutch my chest mockingly 'You hurt me, right here. I thought there was something special between us. Boy was I wrong! I was so so wrong! I am done! I am leaving! Don't bother finding me!'
Archer just rolls his eyes 'See that's what I am saying'
'Aww how can you not love that?!' Cass adds hugging me.
'Yes Cass, I think Arc doesn't love me anymore. I want divorce. I can't live with this anymore!'
Archer decides to join me 'No babe don't do that! Who will take care of Mac and cheese??!! And who will clean our toilets everyday??!!'
'Ew no I won't clean anyone's toilets and I would definitely not name my kids Mac and Cheese! Who even does that!' I wrinkle my nose in disgust.
'Hey I will name my kids Mac and Cheese!' Archer says sounding offended.
'Kids enough for now. The lasagne is in the table, I have to go now but finish your homeworks' She kisses all of us in the cheeks and we exchange our goodbyes.
'Seriously Archer you should adopt me. Your mom's so cool!' I state after tasting the lasagne.
'Where do you think her coolness comes from?' He asks raising both of his eyebrows and mockingly flips his hair.
Cass and I just roll our eyes.
After showering and putting on Archers shorts and t-shirt we all were chilling around in Archers room.
'So Isis, what happened to that Noah guy you were dating? Is he still on?' Archer asks me.
'What no! I already dumped him. He was way too clingy' I mutter rolling my eyes 'And why are you enquiring about my latest conquest, may I know?'
'Well too bad I wanted him to do some errands coach asked me to do. And you think all guys are clingy'
Archer is the captain and the quarter back of the schools soccer team and Cass is the head cheerleader. And me? I am the resident troble maker.
'Wait a few days she will have a new conquest by then' Cass replies.
If a boy can be a player and still look hot then why can't I? And honestly I just date them for a week and then dump them when they become clingy. Win win.
'Who do you think I should go for now? I mean I have dated majority of the guys in Westwood'
'You will find someone, now that I have given up on my ways' Cass answers.
'I am still not okay with that. We used to have so much fun'
'Well being in love is fun too. It's really refreshing. I don't even know why I dated all those boys. Yuck!'
Ugh, I turned towards Archer 'She is lovesick! Its disgusting!'
'You didn't tell me the name of the guy' I ask Cass.
'Um..It's Jake' She replies hesitantly.
'Wait! Nerdy Jake?' I exclaim. Cass looks at me sheepishly 'Ugh....yes'
'You knew?!!' I turn towards Arc. And the guilty look in his eyes were enough to tell me that he was involved.
'I can't believe you guys hid this from me!' I huff. I get up from his bed.
'Where are you going?' Archer asks.
'Home' I collect my keys and advance towards the door.
