Remember me in your prayers.

'Why are you here?'

It's a question which can sound offensive to the person hearing it unless it's said in a sweet voice.

In my case I have always heard it in a harsh uninviting voice. And today too I get to hear it.

But here's the difference. Earlier when I heard this I always used to have a smirk on my face and confidence in my pocket. But why do I have tears when I hear this toady?

Well because this is my best friend asking me why I am at school instead of resting at my home with popcorn and Netflix.

Cass shakes my shoulders and asks me again 'Why are you here?!'

'I know right? Why am I here?!' I sigh.

Archer swings his arms across my shoulders 'It's good. We won't get bored, since its quiz day today'

I turn towards him faster than the speed of light, or maybe not 'What?!!!'

He shrugs.

'No no no. I just got back, I don't want to sit for 2 hours and watch a quiz show between the stupidly intellectual students and wannabe scholars'

Its like the second version of Hitler's gas chamber.

Cass sighs 'Holy jesus!!! I even put on heavy makeup today, its going to melt by listening to the nerds talk shit'

Archer hits the back of her head 'When don't you put on heavy makeup'

'Hey!' Cass rubs the back of her head and in response to that Archer sticks out his tongue.

'Shut up you two. I think I am getting a headache. Maybe I should go back home' I remove Archers hand from my shoulder and try to backtrack to my car.

But Archer turns me back again and resumes on our path.

I guess I am not getting out of it.

'Lets just go alright? Let's just go and face it!'

With those last words of comfort we set sail to our gas chamber, er I mean maths quiz.

-

The table was set up on the stage where the quiz was about to happen and behind it with block letters were written the words 'Maths quiz' like it wasn't obvious enough.

Our mathematics professor, a young man of 27 years with the name Mr Harris, thought that it's fun to conduct a maths quiz every month and make every student listen to it. Yeah fun.

We all take the back seat, I mean no issues about bad guys taking the back seat, I just don't like it when the saliva comes flying towards your face when the nerds argue about some stupid math formula.

Safe to say we were the last ones arriving and the show started right away. I spot Vin on the stage sitting in his designated place and then beside him, Belle was fixing her mic. I didn't know shes back in town.

I lean towards Cass 'Belle came back?'

'Yeah, she joined a few days before' Cass lowered her voice as the show was about to start.

'You didn't tell me'

'Yeah well...now you know...'

I smirk 'I would have come eagerly if I had known she was coming. It's gonna be fun'

Cass giggles 'Really?! Can't wait to see'

'Hey I am gonna sleep' Archer draws our attention towards him.
