Don't come to save me, I don't want you to get lost in the dark.

'We should get going' Isis gets up from the chair and heads towards the living room.

'We have school today, where are you going to take her?' I don't think she is allowed to skip school. And its not like we can take Chrissy to school with us.

'I am going to take Chrissy to my house. I will see to it when school finishes'

'How can Chrissy live alone for a whole day?' she unconsciously touches her hair and fixes her shirt, always so self conscious.

'I have maids' Oh yeah, she is rich, rich people have maids at their service 24/7.

'Come on Chrissy' Isis shouts out Chrissy's name. Upon hearing Isis's voice Chrissy comes running from the living room and eagerly follows behind her. Was I that bad?

Nah, that's probably because my house is too small. Or maybe she wants to hang out with Isis. I can only console myself.

'Are we going back to the orphanage?' Chrissy stops and turns around. The way she asked that question makes me want to cry, I mean who wouldn't?

'No. We are going to my house' Isis replies to her question without any empathy, it would have helped if she showed even a little bit of emotion. Maybe she was dropped when she was little.

'Really?!!' Chrissy's eyes shined with a newfound love for Isis. This is the most happiest I have seen her and I wish she could always remain happy like this.

'Yeah...let's go' Isis is either ignoring her or pretending not to see her. Its a miracle how Chrissy still worships her after this.

Chrissy looks like a bright sun in the sky, her smile is contagious, but Isis is like the danger sign- dark, mysteries and dangerous. I wonder what Isis did to receive affection from such a sweet girl.

Just as they were getting ready to go I remember about Chrissy's clothes 'Wait Chrissy! You left your clothes, I will bring it, just wait' I run upstairs and bring her clothes along with the little bundle she was holding from last night, I made sure to wash her clothes and dry them. Even though those are shabby I didnt think she would want to throw them away.

'Here you go' I hand her the things. Chrissy happily takes them from my hands and clutches the bundle tightly.

Isis scrunches up her face with resentment towards her belongings 'You should throw that out. I will get you new clothes'

The amount of arrogance rolling off her is astonishing! These rich kids think that they have the world under their feet just because they have money. Does memories mean nothing to them?!

Chrissy opens her bundle which contained a torn up dirty teddy bear and a folded paper. 'I have my mom's picture in it and my teddy. The orphanage said that's the only thing she left for me'

'Isis, just let her be!' That girl really doesn't know how to control her mouth, she should really do something for that mouth of hers.

She narrows her eyes at me and huffs 'Alright! Come on it's getting late' she opens the front door and walks towards her car.

I crouch down to Chrissy's height and pat her head 'If she ever disturbs you, you can always come to me. Alright?' she is really loveable.

She smiles at me and nods 'Don't worry Isis is nice, she wouldn't do anything bad'

You have no idea kid 'I hope so too'

'Will you come to visit?' She asks hopefully.

I glance up at Isis who is constantly tapping her foot in irritation 'I will try' I offer her a small smile. I don't think I would be able to, after all its Isis's home we are talking about.
