It hurt. It hurt right there.
Suffocating my breath.
Its trying to come out and I am trying to keep it in.
There was this clawing feeling on my neck.
I wanted it to go away, but this feeling is my only comfort...
I prefer to get lost in the dark than be found in the light.

I get up from the old rusty bench and it creaks from my movement. The sun has set many hours ago and I should probably go home. But this place seems to be the only one who understands me. It just rests here and observes me while I fall apart, without saying anything in return.
I wonder what it will say if it could actually talk. Would it still provide me with this peace or would it go completely crazy?....I guess I will never know and its better that way.

'Welcome home ma'am. I have already prepared your dinner. Do you want me to serve it for you?' My housekeeper, Mrs Jane was given the duty of taking care of Chrissy since I cant leave a 5 year old alone in this big house.
'No, where's Chrissy?' I open the fridge and search for something cold to drink.
'I made sure to feed her and put her to sleep before 8, just like you asked' she replies.
'Alright you can go now' I unscrew the cold water and gulp it down.
'Um..she was asking me about you and mentioned something about...Vin?' she struggled to remember his name.
'What did she say?' Why would she even ask about Vin?
'She asked me for his number...um..she seemed to be a little desperate for his number'
'Alright go now' I find the steak inside the refrigerator. Mrs Jane did a good job.
That girl should have just stayed with him if she loves him that much. Ugh kids. I am tired and I most definitely do not have an appetite. I just change my clothes and lie down on my bed.

I knew it. Even though the whole world is fighting zombies he would be found in the library studying. Seriously he makes me bored just by looking at him.
I stand by his desk and wait for him to look up from his precious book. After waiting for 5 seconds I pull out his book from his desk which definitely catches his attention.
'Wh-What are you doing?!' He pushes up his glasses up his nose and looks around.
'Outside in 1. You better not be late, I am busy' I just let his book fall. I just love riling him up.
I wait near the library gate where less people are present. I don't want to be seen with him, it would circulate unnecessary rumours.
I see him exiting the library with a shit load of books in his hand. I wonder when he gets time to read those.
I push off the wall and stand straight, body language is an efficient way to communicate. He slowly walks towards me and pushes his glasses up his nose 'What do you need me for?'
'Give me your number' I take out my phone.
'My number?!' He looks around for a second searching for the person in question.
I am not that scary, am I? I huff. I grip his jaw and force his eyes to meet mine 'Your number Vece'
He quickly utters his number and I save it under Vece.
