Chapter 39

I/bfn P.O.V

I decide to head into the forest since it would have water and food that I would need. After a while of walking I find a clearing that was so beautiful it had a pond in the middle and a little cave near it to the east, 'where could everyone be?' I start questioning before I hear some voices so I head to the cave to hide.

"Look, a clearing up ahead. We will be fine for the night." I hear a familiar voice say, 'Hey, is that you I/bfn?' I hear in my head and immediately know who. I walk out of the cave.

"Hey, guys!" I call out waving towards them and Maddie super speeds at me, knocking me to the ground.

"Maddie, calm down." Y/n sighs coming over here to get Maddie off of me.

"Hey, have you seen the others?" Y/n asks me after she got Maddie off of me.

"I was going to ask the same, but no I haven't." I said shrugging my shoulders.

 "Dark must have messed with my portal." Y/n mutters and punches a tree in anger which makes it fall.

 "Calm yourself." Maddie says  y/n mutters something else but I can't quite make out. 

"Werewolves am I right?" Maddie says jokingly trying to lift the mood but Y/n just gives her a death glare which makes her back off with hand up in defense. Y/n sighs,

"That reminds me Mark must have it hard seeing as he is away from his mate." She says looking out on the horizon.

"Wait, he is a wolf. Does that make Amy a wolf too?" I say confused.

"Yes and yes. Where were you when I found out Mark is my brother?" She asks slightly sarcastically, as Maddie silently fixes up the cave for us.

"Oh, yeah. I'm forgetful." I say all innocent.

"Doesn't that mean you have a mate?" I question, I am so confused right now. Y/n thinks for a moment.

"No." She replies to my question.

"I am so confused!" I groan wanting it to make sense.

"It was made so that I wouldn't have a mate because they would die." She explains and I nod slowly understanding, and yet still not understanding,

"I am too dangerous to have a mate but that means I would never be truly happy. But if for some reason someone else like me were to exist, they would become my Mate or if the legend of the Yin and Yang wolf is true, the spirit is choosing a new wolf that doesn't have one." She continues to explain and everything clicks except one thing.

"I thought you were the Yin and Yang wolf?" I say a bit confused.

"I kinda am, I am stronger then the Yin and Yang wolf, I am a masterpiece of the world." She says but I've been friends with her long enough and she is hiding something, but I let it go for now.

A/N

I am so so sorry! This took so long, I've been busy with finals and since schools out they take your computer for the year and so I wasn't able to update and I'm busy with camping stuff and since I am so sorry I will update with another chapter before I leave for camp on  Monday.
