Cassidy

I groan as my phone vibrated, awakening me from my deep slumber. I listened as the sound of its smooth form descending across the base of my night table filled the silent room. As much as I dreaded the idea of fully awakening, I knew I had to.

I swiftly, but fluently parted my eyes as the figure of my IPhone 5 came into view. I unsteadily expanded my naked arm across the wobbly night table, forcibly grabbing my phone. It took me under one minute before my eye sight was well adapted to the lighting.

I slowly sat up and outstretched my sore, knotted muscles. As a crack responded out of them I sat my hands down. I looked down at my lap to see that my phone has magically vanished. I slowly lifted up my cover as I retrieved for my phone. Somehow it seemed to get caught in between my blanket and comforter. Once I originated it I slide my hand across the screen, unlocking it.

I aired for what the beeping was until I realized that it was my phone informing me that I had received a text from Nicolle. I turned my head in the direction of my clock, yawning. My eyes widened as I embraced what it read.

"What is Nicolle doing texting me at seven in the morning?" I asked aloud to myself as I scrunched up my brow.

I rubbed my tired eyes as I opened the message, running my eyes across the black and white letters.

Get up and get ready lazy arse. We gotta leave for the concert in 45 minutes! - N XX

I yawned again, covering my mouth, "Concert? What conce-" I stopped in mid sentence, jumping up in realization. "Oh shit," I cursed, rubbing my cheek.

I looked up towards my calendar situated in the center of my pink wall across from me. "Today is the One Direction concert!"

I kicked the covers off of my legs, swinging my feet over the edge of the bed. I hurriedly slide off, feeling the room's cool temperature hug around my body as my feet made contact with the floor.

I caressed my arms along with my ice cold hands as I entered my bathroom which was awfully quite messed up with my make-up and hair products. I sighed, picking up some of my belongings and stuffing them in their correct compartments.

I've really got to work on leaving the bathroom clean once I'm done, I told myself as I picked up the last of my things.

I let out a deep breath as I turned my body towards the shower, extending my hand to turn it on. I twisted the handle to the left, slowly starting the feel the warm water spit out of the pipe hanging above me. When I thought the water was at a presentable temperature I quickly stripped down my clothes stepping in.

I inhaled/exhaled as I felt the hot water slide down my cold back, sending chills all over. The warm water soon started to wake me up as the knots in my neck loosened.

I was really fond of the hot water against my skin right at this moment. It relaxed me. Made me forget about the rush of getting ready.

After a while of just standing there and embracing the warmness I grabbed my shampoo and squeezed it until liquid squirted out of its tip and on to the palm of my hand. I closed the shampoo's cap, setting it down on the shelf beside me. I patted the shampoo in my hands for proximally ten seconds before rubbing it thoroughly throughout my hair. I repeated this routine with the conditioner.

As soon as I finished rinsing and repeating I turned the shower off. I opened the shower curtain and at an instant, the frosted air attacked me. I shuddered, quickly reaching for the towel hanging on the rack. I wrapped its fuzzy figure around me, securing it at the top afterwards.
