Victor Zsasz, from what I heard about him he is a hard guy to kill. Having already killed over twenty people, he was better than me at almost everything. The only thing I beat him at was hiding who I really was. Ever cop in Gotham new his real identity while they only heard whispers about mine.
No one knew who I truly was, not even my loving boyfriend.
"Victor! Time to get up!" I yelled from the kitchen.
"Is that muffins?" He asked with a smile.
"Yes now hurry up your boss called and wants you at the club." I said pecking his lips.
He smiled as I walked back over to the stove and put one of the muffins on a plate and handed it to him with some coffee.
"I hope I don't have to stay over today." He said with a frown.
"I'm sure you won't have to stay long." I said with a smile.
"I will if Penguin gets girly to help him." He said bitting into his muffin.
"Girly?" I asked turning to look at him.
"That assassin for higher. He wants me to work with her." He said with a grown.
"Doesn't she go by.... let me think.... Lady Z?" I asked with a smile.
"Yep that's the one. She has been a pain in my side since she showed up here. She takes my jobs and doesn't give me a share." He said with a frown.
I felt a smile grow on my face as I put my mug to my mouth.
"Well I have to go." He said pecking my cheek.
"Love you." I said with a smile.
He walked out of the house and I let out a sigh. Two years and he hasn't said those three words. I don't know what I expected, he is a hitman who keeps his emotions in check. I heard my phone go off and I answered it with a small hello.
"Got a job for you my Lady." A voice said on the other end.
"Let me guess a flightless bird needs my help." I said with a smirk.

I arrived at Penguin's club in my motorcycle helmet and smiled as I walked up to them.
"Lady Z." Penguin said with a smile.
"Penguin. Rumor around Gotham is you need my help." I said calmly.
"Yes. You see I have someone I need killed. Zsasz can't do it alone, so I wanted the best woman to help him." He said with a smirk.
"What's the job?" I asked sitting in front of him.
"A party tonight. You two will go together. The man I want dead is hosting it. Trick him into a room with you and then kill him. Don't care how just do it."
"I guess I'll see you tonight Zsasz." I said with a smirk.
I left to get some clothes for the party and I smiled when I realized it was a masquerade.

I met Zsasz at the party and we walked in together.
"Alright do what I say and we can get this over with." He said with a frown.
"Or you can do what I say. I'm the one who has to kill the guy." I said glaring up at him.
"Not if I do it first."
"Listen Zsasz I don't know why you don't like me, but we are on this job together. Not just you, us both. Now stop being a baby and work this job with me so I can go home." I snapped walking towards the bar.
I ordered a drink and sipped at it while we waited for the host. When we saw him Victor took me to the dance floor.
"Alright so you will have to seduce him. Do you know how to do that?" He asked calmly.
Oh how I wanted to say," I deduced you didn't I?", but I knew that would give who I was away.
"Yes you moron." I said annoyed.
"Before you do I have a question." He said calmly.
"Alright ask away."
"I am dating this girl. We have been together for about three years. She can say I love you without thinking, but.... I'm having trouble saying it. What should I do?" He asked softly.
"Well when did she first say it?"
"Three months ago on a Saturday at 4 o'clock."
"You remember right down to the time when she said it?" I asked shocked.
"I always remember. From her morning routine to when she goes to bed." He said with a small smile.
"Do you love her?" I asked softly.
"I.... know I care about her a lot, but saying those words. I haven't said them in a long time. I don't know if I can."
"I'm sure she knows that you care about her." I said with a small smile as I walked away from him.
I made it to the host and started to chat him up. After awhile he lead me away to a room and I got ready to kill him. It would have gone smoothly if I hadn't got stabbed in the side.
"Think I didn't expect Penguin to send a hitman. When I saw you dancing with Victor I thought wow he got the two best hitman after me." He said with a chuckle.
He quickly took my mask off and smirked as he put the blade against my neck.
"So your Lady Z. I always wanted to kill you." He said with a smirk.
I heard someone step on my mask and I looked to see Victor behind the man. He quickly snapped the guy's neck and I fell to the floor. I looked up to see Victor with a smile on his face.
"Looks like I saved Lady Z." He said with a chuckle.
He offered me his hand and I let it a sigh.
"I can't move." I said softly.
"Seriously? Fine I'll carry you." He said picking me up.
I hid my face so he couldn't see who I was. I felt him start to walk and I closed my eyes as darkness over came me.
