Harvey

"Hey Harv do you got those reports on that murder?" I asked walking over to my best friend.

"Yea I got them somewhere." He said looking on his desk.

He pulled a file out and handed it to me. I laughed before walking back to my desk. I set down and after awhile I heard a cough. I looked up to see Jim standing in front of my desk.

"What's up Jimbo?" I asked with a smile.

"Nothing much I came over here cause I wanted to ask you something. Would you mind going to dinner with me? I really need someone to stop me from hitting something." He said with a smile.

"Is it that Wayne benefit again?" I asked with a laugh.

"You know it."

"Sure I'll go." I said smiling at him.

"Thank you." He said walking away.

I laughed as I got up and told my boss about my plans with Jim. This is a normal thing for me and Jim to do because Lee always couldn't make it. After I left the office I bumped into Harvey.

"Sorry Harv." I said with a laugh.

"It's fine... so what did Jim need?" He asked softly.

"Wanted me to have dinner with him at the Wayne benefit." I said with a smile.

"Oh.... I guess I'll see you there." He said smiling at me.

"See you... hey who are you bringing?" I asked softly.

"A new girl you haven't met her yet." He said walking away.

I let out a sigh as I walked home and grabbed one of my best outfits.

I met up with Jim and we walked inside to see Harvey talking to a beautiful young woman. I felt like I was going to break a tooth by how hard I greeted my teeth.

"Are you okay?" Jim asked softly.

"Perfect." I whispered.

We set down and after awhile Harvey joined us.

"Hey I want you guys to meet Rachel. She's a model." Harvey said with a smile.

"Really that's so amazing." I said as I drink some wine.

After awhile Bruce came over to see us and he had Alfred behind him.

"You look amazing Miss (L/N)." Alfred said kissing my hand.

"Please just call me (Y/N), Alfred." I said with a laugh.

"Alright I am gonna steal (Y/N) away cause I owe her a dance." Jim said with a smirk.

"No you know I can't dance." I said as he took my hand.

"I hate you." I said as he spun me.

"I know..... so are you gonna tell Harvey about you liking him?" Jim asked as soon as we got out of hearing distance.

"Why he has Rachel the model?" I asked annoyed.

"Come on where is the girl who told me to go for what I want no matter the obstacles?"

"At the bottom of the ocean with her heart." I said sadly.

"Hey tell him and see how it goes and if he hurts you I'll just have to break every bone in his body." Jim said with a laugh.

"Your horrible." I said smiling happily.

"I know but would we be friends if I was any different?"

"Most likely I mean you are my cousin." I said with a smile.

"Cute now let's go eat." He said dragging me back to the table.

We set down and ate while talking. I told embarrassing stories about Jim to Bruce and the others.

"How long have you two known each other?" Bruce asked with a smile.

"Since birth." Jim said with a smile.

"Our mothers where very close." I said with a laugh.

"Why aren't you two dating you guys know everything about each other?" Rachel asked with a smile.

I burst out laughing and watched as Jim smiled.

"Well if she wasn't my cousin sure." Jim said with a laugh.

I kept laughing as I saw Harvey stare at us in shock.

"So your cousins? Why didn't you guys tell anyone?" Harvey asked in shock.

"It's funny to listen to people say we should date. And this idiot and me made a bet about what would happen if we didn't tell. She's laughing cause I owe her twenty dollars." Jim explained as he sent me a glare.

After dinner we left and I made my way home. I shut my door and took off my painful heels before changing clothes. I put on some shorts and a tank top before grabbing a Coke. I heard a knock on my door and let out a sigh before going to open it. When I open the door it was to see Harvey, who had a case of (f/d). I smiled as I let him in.

"You can get the movie set up." I said as I walked into the kitchen to make popcorn.

"I got (f/m)." He said with a laugh.

"I love that one." I said walking into the room.

I set beside him and put the popcorn on the table. I smiled as the movie started and then after it ended I saw I had laid my head on his shoulder. I moved my head off his shoulder and stretched.

"So why didn't you tell me that you guys where cousins?" Harvey asked softly.

"Well I thought you already knew being honest." I said softly.

"How could I? I thought you where secretly dating him."

"You thought I was dating a taken man?" I asked as anger started to boil up.

"Yea. I mean you where always with him going to dinner and everything."

"Screw you! How can you think I would be that shallow?" I asked as I stood up.

"I didn't mean to offend you." He said standing up.

"Really mister I am dating a motel. How much did are you paying her to screw you?" I yelled.

"Really you wanna go there?" He asked annoyed.

"Yea I mean come on it is so obvious that you wanted to make me jealous! Oh look at me I'm Harvey Bullock and I can get any girl I want!"

"Yea I can get anyone but the idiot I'm in love with!" He yelled.

"Please all yo I have to do is kiss her and she would love you." I said annoyed.

I turned away from him but was forced to turn around by Harvey. When I went to say something I was cut off by him grabbing my face and pressing his lips against mine. I sighed into the kiss pulling him closer to me.

"So tell me..... did that kiss make you love me back?" He whispered.

"Idiot... I was already in love with you." I whispered as I kissed him again.
