"You are not going out like that." My mom said as she glared at my outfit.
"Why not?" I asked angrily.
"You look like you worship the devil."
I rolled my eyes and walked into my room. I smiled as I opened my window and climbed out of it. I slid down a pill and let out a laugh as I walked down the street. I walked towards the school and let out a groan when I saw my principal outside looking around.
"Looks like you are in for it now." A voice said.
I let out a laugh as I turned to see Bruce Wayne.
"Shouldn't you be in class geek?" I asked with a laugh.
"Shouldn't you not look like you murdered a innocent virgin?" He asked with a laugh.
I let out a laugh and we walked towards the school house.
"I'll see you around I think I'm gonna skip today." I said calmly.
"Have fun, I'll tell (b/f)(best friend's name)." He said with a smile.
"See you geek." I said as I turned and walked away.
I walked through an alleyway and let out a sigh as I made my way to my favorite place, the circus. The only place I wasn't the one to get stared at and called a freak. I smiled as I walked in and looked around. I made my way to the games and handed the guy a dollar before I started to play.
"You know those are rigged right?" A voice asked.
I turned to see a ginger walk up to me.
"Doesn't mean I can't have fun." I said before I threw the ball and hit the bottles knocking them all down.
The vender looked at me shocked and I pointed to the small stuffed monkey.
"How did you do that?" He asked with a laugh.
"Practice and patience." I said with a smile.
"Jerome Valeska." He said as he held his hand out.
"(Y/n) (L/n), but people call me a Satan worshiper." I said playfully.
"You too?" He asked sarcastically.
I let out a laugh and he sent me a smile. We started to walk through the circus and I smiled as he told me about how he was in the circus.
"What do you do here?" I asked as I put my hands in my pocket.
"Take care of my mom's snake and trailer." He said softly.
"Ever think of leaving?"
"All the time.... what about you? Think about leaving this lovely city."
"All the time.... I don't have a lot of friends." I said softly.
"You got me." He said with a smile.
"Sorry I can be the only Satan worshipper in this relationship."
"Damn, there goes my shot at taking you to my trailer and having my way with you." He said with a laugh.
"By me dinner and I might take you up on that offer." I said with a smile.
"Count as dinner if I buy you a corn dog."
"Best dinner I've ever had."
He let out a laugh and we walked to the stand. I smiled as he ordered two corn dogs and handed me one.
"My lady." He said playfully.
"Smooth bastard." I whispered as we went and set down.
After eating we walked around again.
"So where is your trailer?"
"Right this way." He said calmly.
We made our way to a trailer with a snake in the front and he opened the door for me. We walked inside and I let out a gasp as I saw it.
"Wow this is amazing." I said as I looked around.
"Yea, mom likes it clean." He said softly.
"You don't get along with your mom do you?" I asked as I plopped down on the bed.
"What gave it away?" He asked softly.
"I know a thing about horrible moms."
"Bet mine is worse."
"Your mom take you to a church and try to drowned you?" I asked softly.
"Your mom hit you for breathing?"
"Damn you win. My mom is bad, but I've never slept outside."
"Your mom hits you too?" He asked softly.
"All the time."
"Your dad not stop it?"
"Don't have one."
"Looks like you know how I feel." He said softly.
"Sometimes I wish I could just..... strangle her in her sleep."
"Why don't you?"
"Because I don't think I could hide her body."
"I could help."
"I'll help you hide your mom's if you help me hide mine." I said calmly.
"Deal." He said with a smirk.
I let out a laugh as I fell back on the bed.
"We are horrible..... though I will admit.... I would love to whip my mom's smirk off her face." I said softly.
"What if I told you that I already killed my mom?" He asked softly.
"I'd ask where you hid the body?"
"On a hill." He said calmly.
"Seriously?" I asked as I set up.
He nodded his head and I bit my lip.
"Prove it."
He led me out and we made our way to a hill. I let out a gasp as I saw a woman's body on a hill.
"You weren't kidding." I said softly.
"Want to kill your mom?"
"Sure." I said as I shrugged my shoulder.
We walked towards my house and I led him to her room.
"Okay, So after we kill her we need to have you steal some things and wreak the place, here is some gloves."
"Shouldn't you kill her?" He asked playfully.
"True, but I need you to wreak the place." I said as I walked towards her room.
It was easier then I thought and after I was done I had Jerome punch me in the face so that when I called the cops I had a back story. Before I called them and was taken to the police department.
"Why do many people here?" I asked as I held ice on my cheek.
"A woman was killed at the circus." Harvey said calmly.
He started to ask me questions and then I was free to go. The next morning I made my way to the police department to ask about the investigation.
"Find out who killed my mother yet?" I asked as I held my breath.
"Jerome Valeska, he killed his own mother as well.... he confessed to the crime. Said he saw her beat you and wasn't going to let her get away with it." He said calmly.
"I see." I said as I turned and walked away.
I waited a week before going to Arkham Asylum and visiting Jerome. I smiled when I saw him walk towards the glass.
"Hello sunshine." He said with a smile.
"Why lie and say you did it?" I asked softly.
"Cause no matter how much I'd love to have you in here with me.... I'd rather have the wait... that way we can have some fun when I get out."
"Can't wait." I said with a smile.
"I'll see you when I get out sunshine." He said with a wink.
