At first sight

Chapter 4

On the other side of the headset, was a man who literally facepalmed himself 10 times today. 

Tsk tsk, Carl Hallsworth, you asked me to help you but you are not even listening to me. 

 "Grab her arm, grab her arm and ask her if you can see her again. Hurry!" Jerry shouted repeatedly, before giving himself another facepalm. 

"Noisy." Such a cold reply, before he could sigh, Carl hung up. 

He remembered the other day when he went into his brother's office and noticed that his brother was deep in thought, he did not even notice that Jerry knocked and enter the room. Was it work? Hmm family? Jerry thought to himself before he continued to analyse. Such gentle eyes appearing on Carl's face, his usual cold face seems to have a hint of warmth. 

Holy.. crap. perhaps... someone Carl is interested in? Romantically?  He was so shocked that he subconsciously took a few steps back and hit the coffee table behind him with a loud thud. Oops. When he looked up, his eyes met his brother's cold grey eyes. 

"Bro, who is it? Are you thinking about a girl or.. or.. a guy?" Jerry stuttered. It is logical that he asked this question because Carl has never been interested in anyone romantically, and for him to have such an expression appearing on his face... To people that knew him, it was a rare and scary sight.

"I like a girl," Carl said coldly. 

Jerry was so shocked, he remained in the same position for the next 30 seconds, staring at his brother like he is a 3 legged monster. 

He then gathered his thoughts and started laughing, "hahahahahahahahaha. Oh my god! AHAHAHAHAHA Brother, don't worry, I the King of flirtatious, will teach you how to get my future sister-in-law." He cried enthusiastically. His brother actually likes a girl, this is great news to everyone in the family.

Towards Jerry enthusiasm, Carl reacted by turning his back towards Jerry, hiding the hint of smile in his face when he heard Jerry calling the woman that he likes 'future sister-in-law', and replied with a gentle "Mmm". 

Seeing Carl's good mood, Jerry spent the entire day pestering Carl on how they met, where they met and tons of different questions. However, he only managed to squeeze out this information. 1. She is a female, 2. She is a nurse and 3. Carl knows her name, but he kept his lips sealed.

Jerry scratched his head, he knew that with his brother's power as a CEO of one of the most influential companies in the world, he could just get all her details in a snap of his finger, but he is not revealing anything. Since it was obvious that Jerry will not be able to get any more information out of Carl, so he could only wait until she became Carl's girlfriend. 

"Brother, you should approach her. Of course, despite you being low profile and people can still recognize you due to our great genes and of course, our surname.  Go find out her schedule and we will be able to start our plan." 

"ED nurse." 

Carl's point is simple, he is telling Jerry that with the above information he should be able to work something out and of course, Jerry understood. With that, he proceeds with his meticulous plan, little did he knew that Carl was not planning to follow through. 

Staring at his wireless headset, he sighed. His brother just hung up on him, it seems like it will take a while for him to see his future sister-in-law.
