Aston Twee was smart, he knows his place as a new politician, and did not move to a more luxury place to avoid any suspicion of earning illegal money. He humbly stayed in a normal landed house, however, he ensured it was secured with the security system. If that was the case, the easiest way to get things done is to snipe him from afar. Despite that being the safest and best option, but Evangeline decided to spice things up a little.

Hiding in the shadows of the house, she ensured that she was not captured by the CCTV. She waited in still silence, slightly restless as it had been long since she last did this. It is important for an assassin is to stay patient and calm, Evangeline knew that more than anything else. A car pulled over, and the target casually got down his car with two bodyguards. The three of them looked around sternly before walking towards the house door, when all of the sudden, one of the bodyguard groaned and reached out for his back. The other bodyguard immediately stood in front of his boss as he looked around. He glanced at his friend who was already laying down on his own pool of blood.

"Boss, we are under attack, the attacker might still be around. Get into the house now."

Aston cursed under his breath. What luck? He thought by staying low, he would not be targeted by anyone. Hearing what his bodyguard said, he rushed to the gate.

The bodyguard stood behind Aston with his gun raised, guarding whoever that was out there while his boss was still trying to place his trembling finger on the fingerprint scanner.

'Uh uh, I wouldn't have done that if I were you." A low feminine voiced, causing goosebumps to the two men.

A rock then hit the hand that was holding firmly on the gun, unfortunately, the gun remained at where it is. Apparently, the rock only caused the man to wince in pain, he started to adjust his grip on the gun as he directs it to where the Evangeline had thrown the rock from. He smirked, 'what a fail, you are so dead now'. Too bad, she had already used her skilful silent steps to change her position and threw another rock while the man was adjusting his grip earlier on. That was right, when she threw the first rock, her intention was just for him to adjust his grip.

"Fuck!" The bodyguard cursed as he felt something cold pressing against his temple, he looked down to where his gun fell and it was already gone. "Only a trained assassin would have such speed," he whispered and smiled, he just gave up on himself. Hearing that, Aston froze and stiffly turn his head to the attacker.

"Oh, you did your homework. Here, you deserved this." Using the back of her gun, she hit where it would cause him to lose his conscious.

There, she was being merciful, her target was only Aston Twee, there was no point killing the two of them. She made sure to stab the first guard at where there are no vital organs. 

Evangeline and Aston stay rooted and watched the gate open slowly.

"Why?" He asked weakly, with the attacker speed, he knew dashing in the house would be useless.

"Maybe you shouldn't get involved with the mafias. I am guessing someone else felt threaten or perhaps they were disappointed after finding out the shit you do. Whatever, I am just doing my job as an assassin." Evangeline said calmly as she gently tucked her loose hair behind her ear, clearly displaying the little claw marks tattoo to the CCTV. She then placed the gun on the Aston's temple, before he could say anything else, she shot him.

As for why Evangeline chose to show her trademark tattoo, it was simply for the police to know that it was a work of an assassin, not mentioning one of the top assassin - Reid Nora. Even though Evangeline had stayed low for many years, no one would dare to forget how ruthless she was. After the police saw the insane speed hers, and the trademark claw tattoo through the CCTV, they immediately close the case before they even start the investigation. Despite feeling demoralised, they do respect her for her work, for one she has mad skills, and two, after the police did some digging, they realised that all her targets were not the most righteous people.

However, with the news of Reid Nora being back, the whole assassin industry went crazy.
