At first sight

Chapter 2

After greeting some of their colleagues at the club,  Angie dragged Evangeline to the dance floor.

"I was a dancer,  and I love dancing a lot. " Angie explained excitedly after they found a spot.  Evangeline nodded and watched Angie dance while swaying with the music awkwardly, thankfully she didn't look that bad.  After a short while,  Evangeline decided to go grab some drinks.  Pointing to the bar,  Angie shook her head signaling that she will wait for Evangeline right here.

"Whiskey on rocks. "

The bartender passed the drink to Evangeline as he checked her out.  Evangeline awkwardly looked away,  she dislike dealing with such things.  She watched the people at the dance floor, enjoying her whiskey.  Wait..  Angie was still dancing on the dance floor...  with two other guys?!

Noticing Angie's uncomfortable face,  Evangeline decided to help her out. However as she walked there,  she noticed that the guys were trying to take advantage of Angie,  they were trying to feel her up and she was obviously not enjoying it. 

Evangeline's face darkened as she effortlessly glaze through the crowd to get to Angie. 

"Hey, Evans,  come and hang with us! " One of the colleague shouted out as she spotted Evangeline walking through the crowd,  she frowned when Evangeline continued walking and continue to chat with the rest. 

"Hey Angie , what's up with these two macho hunks" The two 'hunks' turned around and held their heads high upon Evangeline's words, her cheeky smile interest them more.  

They inched closer to both Angie and Evangeline , "hey chick,  want to join us,  we are having a good time with An..  Angel here!  We will give you the best time of your life. "

"Really? " Evangeline questioned them with bright eyes.  Angie's body started to tremble.  One of the guys noticed and put his hand over her shoulder,  "don't be scared baby,  we are not some big werewolf. "

Little did they knew,  the origin of her fear was not due to them but Evangeline. 

Evangeline swiftly grabbed the hand that was on Angie's hand and gave it a real good twist.  Before the other man can react,  she kicked him hard in his stomach.  Holding on the twisted arm,  she gave the guy a real good punch. 

The two men rolled on the floor in pain, while Angie held on Evangeline arm tightly,  trying to control the damage. Well,  damage done though. 

Not long after, two bouncers came.  Angie shook Evangeline real hard,  and immediately Evangeline's eyes displayed shocked and fear.  An actress in a second. The two guys groaned in pain,  unable to speak.  The two bouncers analysed the situation and assumed the two guys fought against each other for the two girls.

The nurses rushed into the scene and checked on the two girls with worried eyes. Both Evangeline and Angie reassured them that it was nothing and the party eventually continues.

Evangeline got out of the washroom, "You saw?", she asked with a slight smile on her face. 

"Want to get out of here?" Logan asked with a tone of annoyance, he grabbed on her arm, however let go immediately when her eyes met his.
