"Wait, she rejected you? Why? How? I mean you are not as handsome as me but you second the chart. Does she know your identity? No, if she does, she won't say no. But everyone in the world can recognise Carl Hallsworth. What can be the reason? Does she not like the roses? Is she playing hard to get? No one will play hard to get when it comes to you! Like why would they?" Jerry continued to babble on for the next 10 minutes, while Carl read through a pile of proposals.

Jerry eventually sat down on the seat in front of Carl and wait for Carl to say something.

"She does not know my identity. She loves the baby breath I gave her. She gave me her number."

"That makes sense. If she knew who you are she wouldn't give you her number. She would know that you can easily get it with a snap of your finge- Wait! I thought I asked you to get her roses. Jesus, thank god that she loves what you chose."

Though it was not their usual practice to remove the bandage, they had to in order to assess, and reapply it properly. The case was handed over to the OT side as despite all measures were done to stop it.

"Well, I told you that you are born to cause others to bleed, not help them when they are bleeding." Evangeline scoffed.

Logan looked away and stay silent. He held on to his churning stomach.

"On a serious note, you did not become a nurse because you want to. I hope you reevaluate your decision. That old man... he knows no one can control me now, there is no use for this to continue. "

Logan knows, however, one of the reasons that he still doing this was because of Evangeline's mother, while the other reason was....
