Chapter 10: Happiness is here

      Dang! My hot bowl of stewed beef rice noodles placed top of the cafeteria table beautifully.....the fragment smell makes my saliva drip, satisfied with this aunt's store who had never a bad reputation (where they use the time to make one bowl of noodle is equal to the time to make 3 bowls of noodles by the other stores...but most of us will fight to line up the long queue because it's delicious yum)

Also because I bought it slow, all my friends then reserve all the seats at the long table until the back of the cafeteria. I can only sit near the edge close to Ai' Frame and Ai' Mo. Truthfully, I don't really like this very much because the air conditioning at that area blows down is cool enough to make my head feel cold.

Just as I wanted to poke Ai' Frame to change seats, a low pitch voice then resounded loudly.

"Ai' Fuse! You were missing for practice last week!!" Oh, sure enough it's Ai' Nine...he sat chewing on chicken nuggets like very deliciously as a way of not scolding me about not attending to go to practice last week.

It is known that around this time is the sports festival (similar with the football club it is common tradition among friends... that they have to compete against each other during the event among the oldest four male institutes of Thailand therefore it is believed to be a very important task) We have to practice harder on each side, the cheerleading side and the athlete side. Have to succeed the most that day for the pride of our institution and not give bad reputation in font of our seniors and juniors.

Ai' Nine's position is the vice-captain of this year's Cheerleading School in our school, with P'Mek (the president) managing the entire cheerleading squad. Since the day I started primary school, I didn't really contribute to it much. (That also because when the children that time on the first day had to go on the stands to cheer, I remember many people were scolded until the third day, they already started crying out for their mother.) Also, because I can't be an athlete since I'm not good at sports, also cannot be part of the committee member or the technical, or the welfare or the big cheer club and not to mention it's unrelated to me....but.......

"I'm just a substitute...why have to do so much practice ah"

"It just so happens that I'm really asking you to spin the baton part ok?" yes that's right my trusted friend just asked me for help to play as the substitute drum major part without even questioning my opinion! (Such an important job as this means have to practice like it's the real thing because if there is an emergency, a substitute must always be ready) Jeez! I once raise a stick back and forth during the drum major color sports event during primary age just a while only. He was begging me, literarily almost prostrating himself so much that I almost want to agree with it....

"All you have to do is stand upright and swing the baton with your two skillful hands, alright?" Eh I haven't agreed to anything yet and he's already making decisions!

"I haven't agreed to anything yet and also why does it have to be me?" I make a grumpy face, uninterested while stirring my noodle soup.

"Because you have experience when you are in primary. I don't care! Anyways I have already send in your name. Tomorrow afternoon there is practice, if you don't come you're dead!" Ai' Nine barred his canine teeth at me angrily as if catching for a bloody meat to eat while at the same time gestured to swipe off his neck off like a madman. Which cause a chill down my spine, really his cheer blood is powerful enough to brutally be able to continually be a hereditary of every age!

"Tomorrow....yeah of course, you'll definitely see my face there tomorrow!" I said fretfully before he starts doing anything else.

But if there isn't any homework tomorrow afternoon, I guess I'm probably free....might as well contribute to the school haha....( hey! Don't look at me like that! I can do good too....)
