Charlotte squealed in excitement as her Godmother showed her the tickets.
"Your awesome Jaz," Remus said holding a ticket in his hand. "I remember going our last year of Hogwarts, blimey its been forever."
"Yeah, last time we were there the Parsals were the best team in the world." The women spoke her long hair pulled out of her face in tiny braids.
"The Bulgarians are playing right?" Charlotte asked excitedly. "Will Demont Clide be there?"
"I hope he is."
"You two are awful. We have tickets to the Quidditch World Cup and you two are fawning about some boy." Remus said looking at the two unimpressed.
"You fawn over Quidditch players too." Jasmine, Charlotte' s godmother and one of Remus Lupin' s closest friend, pipped with a smirk on her lips.
Remus rolled his eyes before eying his friend. She had changed much over the last few years. She had grown up, her once bushy black hair was now in tame braids and her brown skin was darker than he remembered. Though she still dressed quite clean and her fact of the matter attitude was very much still there.
"Yes but I am discreet about it?" Remus said as he walked into the kitchen. "Charlotte please do the..diner thing."
Charlotte rolled her eyes and walked out of the living room. She poked her head into the kitchen to see Remus looking in the oven.
"You know it's not that hard Remi." Charlotte smiled as she reached for the oven mitts. "You just take it out of the oven."
"Yes, I know," Remus reported; backing up so Charlotte could get to the oven. "You just do it better."
"Could you set the table?" Charlotte asked.
"Now that I can do."
Remus waved his wand, Jasmine stood in the doorway watching as the table magically set itself.
"Remus do you still not cook?" Jasmine asked.
"I cook," Remus replied as he poured himself a cup of tea.
"Yeah once every blue moon." Charlotte joked. "Dinner is served."
"What is it?" Jasmine asked looking into the aluminum pan.
"Beef roast," Remus stated as he sat at the circular table.
"ooohhhh Peters recipe?" Jasmine asked.
"Yep," Charlotte replied as she set a water in front of Jasmine before sitting across from her. "With seasoned vegetables for Remi, because he's a stupid vegetarian."
Remus smacked the back of Charlotte's head as she walked past him but Charlotte only snickered . "So," Remus started looking between the two girls in his life. "What do we have planned for tonight?"
