Hyelin exited out of the conversation on her phone. She connected to her Bluetooth speakers and began playing music as she got ready. She had just gotten out of her shower and was brushing her hair when DAY6 came on. Hyelin jammed along singing into her brush occasionally.
"Congratulations!" She singsonged, well more like screamed loudly.
She was a bit too loud cause the people from the apartment complex above banged on her roof.
"Sorry!" She shouted back up
This happened on more occasion than one. Next she moved onto putting on her uniform, thus began her mental debate.
There were many combinations. She could go with the red skirt, white button up and red cardigan, then there was the black skirt, with red button up and blazer, or even the white shirt with black jeans and red blazer. She sighed too many combinations.
Hyelin closed her eyes and randomly chose. In the end she grabbed the black skirt with the red button up short sleeve. She grabbed a pair of knee high white socks, striped with a single red line, she tied the black tie and slipped on her black slip ons. That was it, finally she grabbed her bag and phone and headed out.
Hyelin's mornings always started with a trip to the convince store next to her apartment. There was always something she was craving. Today it happened to be cookies. She grabbed two chocolate chip cookies and paid.
The day was relatively cool but nothing too bad. Hyelin actually preferred the cool weather. She put on her headphones and walked towards the school, the closer she got the more students appeared on the streets. Many of them going to get breakfast or snacks as well.
Hyelin opened the doors to the school and walked in with another crowd of students. She made her way to her locker and opened it grabbing the two books she needed right now; math and literature. Carefully, she slipped the books out and put the cookies inside. Students passed by whispering different things.
"I'm telling you, he hasn't accepted my follow request!"
"Oh my god Samuel dyed his hair!!"
"I saw her in the library, perfect chance to confess."
"Where's Gualin? He said he'd be here today."
"Wait there was homework? You're kidding me??"
"Can I copy last nights calculus?"
"Look theres Hyelin, god she's so pretty."
Hyelin raised her brow at that comment she didn't even know who said it. It kind of creeped her out a bit.
"He's so cute ugh! Why must he be a senior?"
"You never know, you might have a shot?""Oh please, I just requested today, he's probably gonna accept my follow request right after school. You'll see."
Hyelin rolled her eyes. Why is everyone so boy crazy?
"It's ya boi," A familiar voice chuckled
Hyelin's ears perked up, she turned to the right to see Yukhei standing at her locker. A small smile grew on her face.
"If I could block you in real life for saying that I would," She chuckled "But hi."
"You'd seriously block me for that?" He asked her putting on a hurt look
She nodded, "I told you many times that you're not my boy, but I'll give you a C for effort."
He shrugged, "Fair enough. So Jaehyun told me you knew all the coolest places around the school. Would you mind showing me?"
