"So where to?" Hyelin asked Yukhei as they walked out of the school.
"I was thinking of trying this new boba place and get this, they sell chicken," He said excited.
"Chicken? Lead the way!"
They headed off towards the restaurant. It wasn't very far from the school, but Hyelin had never seen this place before. They entered and were immediately seated.
"So any upcoming plans?" Hyelin asked sipping her drink.
He shook his head, "Nope. Well I finally was able to contact Haru. Hopefully we're gonna work things out or something."
"Are you sure she wants to work it out? I mean the girl ghosted you for a while now," Hyelin said.
"I know but I just wanna talk, even if we have to end it," He shrugged, "This has been going on for too long anyway."
Hyelin nodded, she understood what he meant due to her past relationship. One sided relationships sucked.
"What's up with you? Any plans?"
She shook her head, "No not really. I'm just ready to finish school already. Grade 12 sucks."
"I hear that," Yukhei sighed.
Their hangout was going fine, they talked a lot about what's been going on as well as cracking jokes here and there. But they weren't prepared for what was about to go down.
"I don't know man I kind of wanna go drink my problems away," Yukhei sighed, "But on the bright side ya boi has been sleeping way better."
"That's good!" Hyelin nodded, "Also I could go for a drink too, but seeing what happens to Yuta when he drinks, I feel it's better if I don't."
"Y-yukhei?"
The pair turned to look at the door. Haru was standing there with a look of defeat. How was it that she always managed to find them? It's like the world wanted to see a fight. Thankfully the restaurant was almost empty so nobody was disturbed with the awkward scenario.
"So this is what you meant by busy?" She snapped, "Why don't you two just fucking date already?"
"I have a boyfriend," Hyelin rolled her eyes, "Were just friends." She said referring to herself and Yukhei.
"Bullshit. I should have listened to Yoora, you are nothing but trouble."
Hyelin raised a brow... Yoora? What the fuck does she know about me?
"Haru it's not like that," Yukhei sighed, "Plus you've been ghosting me anyway," He said in his defense.
Which was also true. She was ignoring him for quite some time now.
"Fuck this," She snapped walking back out.
"Aw man. I can't win," Yukhei sighed slumping in his chair.
"Go after her," Hyelin said, "Or else she's gonna avoid you again."
"I'm sorry Hyelin. I'm super sorry," He sighed.
She shook it off, "It's fine. I get it."
With that he walked, More like ran, off to go find Haru. She sighed, now Hyelin had another case. Who was Yoora and why is she targeting her of all people? Hyelin stayed at the restaurant a bit longer thinking about what just happened. That was awkward but she got something out of it. Even if she didn't want the information in the first place.
Yukhei caught up to Haru three blocks down. For someone with shorter legs than him she was fast.
"What do you want?" Haru asked annoyed.
