TW: bullying, death threats, implied depression

Yukhei's day started off really well, he got to talk to Hyelin for a bit before class. She admitted that she missed him a ton, which made him all giddy inside. Thankfully she would most likely be here tomorrow. At lunch Lisa and Yuqi ditched class to sit with him, even though he insisted he was fine being alone. They, however, just wanted an excuse to ditch the class they hated the most. Yoora had tried to sit down with three at lunch but was immediately shooed away by Yuqi holding a snowball in her hand. Yukhei thanked her for saving him from an awkward situation again.

"So what's the plan? Do you need help executing it?" Yuqi asked eating the pizza she had been craving for a while.

"I think I can handle it but thanks," He chuckled.

"Ok but we want details," Lisa said clasping her hands together, "I'll beg if you don't tell us."

"Geez no need to beg," Yukhei chuckled leaning back on the chair. "I won't give away too much but just know I will be planning a very special date."

"That's almost no info," Yuqi said grabbing another snowball from the ground, "Spill!"

"Just wait!" He sighed, "I will talk all about it... after it happens."

They rolled their eyes but agreed. He probably wanted to keep it a secret and a surprise. They let the boy be. The bell rang and they went their separate ways.

The teacher was lecturing, after the lecture she was passing out their tests from the beginning of the week. He was excited to see his grade, he was almost sure he got a perfect score. Hyelin taught him everything she knew about Romeo and Juliet. She handed back the test upside down. Yukhei was hesitant to flip it over, but quickly overcame it. He turned the paper to reveal a score of one hundred percent. A bright smile grew on his face. Oh he was so gonna FaceTime Hyelin after school.

The school day ended but he needed to stop by mini mart to pick up some snacks. As he entered he was met with a familiar face, Soyeon.

"Yukhei! Hey can I talk to you for a sec?" She asked from the cash register.

He furrowed his brows puzzled at the girl's request. He walked to the cash register.

"What's up?" He asked drumming his fingers on the counter.

"Remember when I got you a job here and you said you'd owe me one?" She asked smiling.

Yukhei nodded, "I do recall."

"Great I would like to cash that favor in now," She said.

"Wait I can't work tomorrow. I can work any other day but not tomorrow," He said pleading.

"What no, this isn't about work," She said laughing.

"Oh," He raised a brow, "Then What is it?"

"Will you and Hyelin just date already?!" She exclaimed.

Yukhei was taken back by the shorter girl's request. Yikes does everyone just want Hyelin and I to date? This is weird, but kind of flattering.

"Why the sudden interest?" He asked going over to the chip aisle.

Soyeon followed, "Because literally everyone knows you two like each other like it's a no brainer. Plus I see the way she hangs onto you. She's whipped."
