Hyelin walked into the crowded halls and straight to her locker. There's nothing worse than coming back to class after an amazing break. Probably the best break she's had so far. Despite the minor setbacks from others. As she arrived to her locker she noticed people watching her and whispering around her. She couldn't make out what they were saying.
Just as she expected... rumors. Of course. She rolled her eyes and slammed her locker shut before heading off to class. Math was always easy but the fact that Yukhei was in her class made her uneasy. It's just even seeing him now made her think of Haru which made her want to fight. As usual nothing out of the ordinary until lunch rolled around.
Hyelin sat alone at the table again, but it didn't bother her. What bothered her was the fact that Sarah was sitting at a table relatively close to her. In fact too close for Hyelin's liking.
"Hyelin, why do you keep trying to steal Haru's boyfriend?"
"Do I look like one of you desperate first years? Move on idiot," Hyelin snapped
"You should just stop trying. Get over it," Sarah chuckled, her friends let out chuckles.
She was really getting tired of this shit. It was only getting worse. She knew that if it continued she was gonna snap and break someone's bones. Hyelin sighed and plugged in her headphones.
Hye has sent a message
Hye: Jae Pls come pick me up I really think I'm gonna fight someone right now
Jae: Ok no fighting I have class in five mins OH I'll ask yuta to take my car
Hye: Sounds good
She locked her phone and waited. Despite having her headphones on she could still hear Sarah and her posse laughing and snickering. Hyelin just rolled her eyes and continued scrolling through her Instagram feed. She waited and waited, and finally there was the familiar car.
She blasted her music, got up, and began walking towards the car. Yuta's familiar smile welcomed her as she entered the car.
"You seem like a ray of sunshine today," Yuta teased as soon as she entered
"Natural bitch face has its perks," Hyelin joked
"What happened?" He asked as he pulled out into the streets.
"Remember the girl that was talking mad shit?" Hyelin asked
Yuta nodded keeping his eyes on the road.
"Well she had the nerve to continue talking today and honestly if I would have stayed there I might have punched her."
The car stopped at a red light.
"I don't want to tell you how to run your life but why don't you just come clean?" Yuta asked "You technically already told her you have a boyfriend. Why not just admit it?"
Hyelin sighed, "I want to but I worked hard keeping this relationship lowkey. Plus how would my boyfriend feel? It's a decision we both made."
"I'm sure he won't care. I doubt he wants to keep the relationship a secret forever?" He added.
A smile grew on Hyelin's face.
"You make a good point."
Yukhei was back at school questioning if he really saw what he saw. There was no way Hyelin ditched school to hang out with Yuta right? There was no way.
"Oppa are you even listening?" Haru asked pouting
Yukhei shook his head, "Sorry I zoned out again."
"This is the fourth time. Is everything okay?" Haru asked holding his hand "You can tell me if something's bothering you."
Considering the fact that Haru and Hyelin were not on good terms right now he decided to decline her offer. This was something he couldn't talk to just anyone about, actually, he probably couldn't talk to anyone about it. He put on a smile to ease the younger girl.
She was going to need it.
Jae has sent a message
Jae: Are you really gonna do it? Jae:

Jae: Yes but that's beside the point
Hye: Yeah I am, but I'm not naming names So it'll be anonymous for a while For like a day or two lol
Jae: Why the sudden change? Didn't you both agree to keep it low profile
Hye: Yeah but I want this girl off my back She's so fuckin annoying Jae I really wanted to punch her Like really bad

Hyelin sat down on the couch, her boyfriend was right across from her. The pair looked at each other. Her boyfriend smiled and nodded for her to proceed.
"You sure?" Hyelin asked
"Yes, how many more times do I have to reassure you?" He chuckled holding her hand "I don't mind it. It was gonna come out sooner or later."
"Okay."
