A/N: be warned! This is a long update, I think it's my longest one so far so enjoy! :)
Hyelin and Yukhei left after school towards a coffee shop by their work. As usual Yukhei had his arm slung over her shoulders and they were laughing having a good time. They entered the shop. Like most coffee shops it smelled amazing and it felt very warm and homelike. To be fair this was a home for Hyelin. Yukhei said he'd go order for them. She looked around while he went up there, various of the people in the shop (mostly girls might I add) were looking at Yukhei like he was a piece of meat. Hyelin pouted slightly rolling her eyes. He was definitely more than his looks, his looks were just a bonus to his amazing personality.
Wait, am I getting jealous? Oh yeah, that's jealousy.
He came back to the table and the looks continued to follow.
"Why are you so pouty?" He asked propping his chin up in the palm of his hand.
She didn't realize she was still pouting.
"I am?" She questioned trying to play it off.
He chuckled, "Yes you are. Who hurt you? I'll fight them if you want me to."
"Nobody," she chuckled.
"I don't know. You're really pouty," He presses further.
She looked around. Yup they were still looking at him.
"It's nothing I swear. It's dumb," She said honestly.
He noticed Hyelin looking around behind him, he turned noticing what she noticed. Most of the women in the cafe were eyeing him in every way possible. Hyelin felt a sense of panic rise as he turned around, he was gonna tease her for this and she knew it.
He turned back slowly and smiled at her, "You're worried about them?"
Admitting that he was right was the last thing she wanted to do, but he already knew. There was no point in denying it now. She nodded slightly.
"It's just they're looking at you as if you're just a pretty face," She said honestly.
You're so much more than that.
"You don't have to worry about them," He chuckled, "They can look at me however they want. I'm too busy looking at someone else."
Hyelin felt her face heat up at his words. Her face became even warmer as he moved a strand of her hair out of her face. The moment was broken by their order.
"Coffee for Hyelin," The cashier said.
She felt herself come back. She quickly stood up to go get her coffee, but she was not ready for what happened next. As she sat down the cashier called the next order.
"Coffee for Hyelin's boy," The cashier said loudly grabbing everyone's attention.
Hyelin almost spit out her coffee unsure of how to handle the situation. Yukhei proudly stood up strolling towards the cashier. He took his time walking up there. Whispers began to surface as he was the one who stood up.
"Thank you!" He said happily taking the cup which literally read 'Hyelin's boy'. He plopped right down next to Hyelin smiling.
"I told you they don't mean anything," He said nonchalant sipping the coffee, "Does your coffee taste good?"
She nodded slowly still a bit surprised. The coffee was good though. It tasted kind of like chocolate cake almost. It was really good and something she's never really tried before.
"Thanks. For reassuring me," She chuckled sipping her drink.
"Anytime my love. Now I actually need to do some work," He smiled pulling out his laptop.
