A/N: The chapter Ive been dreading to post lol. Not gonna lie I shed a tear or two writing this chapter so if there's a lot of typos it's cause my eyes were blurry. Anyway this is gonna be a fairly long chapter so buckle up. Also I recommend listening to a sad song on repeat to get in the mood. I listened to BTS Sea while writing this, but you choose whatever you like :) Thanks for sticking with me this long!
Hyelin and Yuta spent the whole weekend together. Literally the whole weekend as if they were attached at the hip. But soon Monday arrived and it was gonna be a tough day for both of them. The first thing Yuta did was go hang out with his members for one last time. Hyelin was a mess while he was out, she laid in fetal position on the couch. Reality didn't hit her until that very moment. Today was really the end. She let out a sigh but rolled off the couch anyway. In an hour or so Yuta would come back with bags in hand ready to leave, she wasn't ready to say goodbye.
Without noticing she realized her hands were shaking. Am I really that nervous? Of course she was. Nervous was an understatement. She ran a hand through her hair, what was she gonna do? Nothing. What could she do? Stop her boyfriend from following his dream just to be with her? Of course they hit it off well and they were a good match, but the future is unpredictable. Anything could happen and in that anything they could still break up in the future. Then what? He would miss out on his dream and be single.
"Is this a lose lose situation?" Hyelin asked herself.
Yes, yes it is. She sighed grabbing her phone from the round dinning table. To her surprise it vibrated just as she got it.
Takoyaki Price has sent a message
She gulped at the notification, it made her even more anxious.
Takoyaki prince:
hey babe I'm omw to your placePrincess Hye:
Ok I'll be here :)Hyelin locked her phone. Damn, he's already coming? She thought it would take him a while to say good bye to the guys. There was one rule Hyelin had to not break. She couldn't cry. She doesn't cry often, but once she and Yuta were having an anime marathon. Of course they picked the saddest anime they could so she obviously cried, but Yuta turned into complete mush at the sight of her crying. It was like he became the epitome of uwu. Cuddles, kisses, compliments, you name it. So if she cried today he would probably opt out of the entertainment and just stay here to comfort her. Not only did she have to be strong, but she couldn't even shed a tear. This was gonna be hard.
The door clicked, bringing Hyelin back to her senses. It was time wasn't it. She turned as the door opened. Yuta stood at the door with a suitcase and a duffel bag.
"Looks like you're already," Hyelin said putting on the best smile she could.
Yuta smiled lightly at her, he was having a hard time getting used to this idea, he could only imagine how Hyelin felt.
"As ready as I'll ever be," He managed to say.
A car honked outside. That would be the taxi that was gonna take them to the airport. That was fast. Why the airport? Yuta wanted to see his family before he officially entered the entertainment.
"Ready to go?" Yuta asked her.
She nodded, "Yeah."
"Are you sure you wanna go? I don't want you to come if you don't feel up to it," He said gloomily.
"I'll be okay," She reassured him and took his hand into hers, "Let's go."
With that they headed into the cab. It was a quiet ride, Hyelin just laid her head on his shoulder. Yuta's grip tightened a bit as they held hands. She looked up to see the airport a few feet away. Too fast for her liking. They paid the cab driver and slowly walked towards the entrance still hand in hand. His plane didn't leave for another hour or so, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
