Just wanna go out to eat with you

Yeah I'm down with that

Jae:
I'll be at your place in like ten

Hyelin grabbed a hoodie from her closet as well as her wallet. She was a bit surprised at Jaehyun's spontaneous request to meet up. It was most likely to check up on her again. She didn't mind it but she wished Jaehyun wouldn't worry so much about it. It's not like she hasn't gone through this before. A car honked causing Hyelin to come back to her senses.

She ran out to see Jaehyun waiting happily in his car.

"You're in a good mood," Hyelin said entering the car.

"I am, my favorite song is on," He said jokingly, "I'm happy to see you loser."

"I'm happy to see you, idiot."

"Good you should be," He teased driving towards the place.

"So what's the deal? You never take me out at least not spontaneously," She said.

"A friend can't take out his best friend just for fun?" Jaehyun asked.

"Hm, I guess you're right."

"I always am," He smirked.

Hyelin rolled her eyes, playfully punching him. He laughed at her as they arrived at the location he picked.

"What a cute place," Hyelin smiled looking at the restaurant.

It was a small little cafe with a warm and cozy vibe. She immediately felt at ease when they entered. They were immediately seated.

"So what looks good?" He asked her as she looked through the menu.

"Everything!" She awed.

Everything on the menu looked good to her. There was lots to choose from. She scanned the menu multiple times before finally deciding on pasta.

"So how are you holding up?" He smiled as the waiter left with their order.

"I'm fine Jae," she chuckled, "Honestly. You don't need to worry about me so much."

Which was true, she was doing somewhat better. The events of what happened don't cross her mind as often as they did before. Although sometimes she does cry it out a bit, but that's normal. The waiter brought their food as they continued the conversation.
