Surprisingly the two spent the school day together, just like old times. There were no awkwardness or shady comments, it was just normal. For now at least. It was all fine until after school. Yukhei and Hyelin were going to walk home together but as they were walking out a girl stopped them.
"Yukhei," The girl asked.
They both stopped and turned around. Hyelin looked at the girl, she looked a bit familiar, she noticed that her black hair was fading. It made her look a bit odd. Especially cause it was her roots that were fading. Somehow she had never seen her at school until this day.
"Yoora?" He asked confused.
She smiled but then noticed Hyelin who was waking by his side, "Oh are you busy?"
"Uh not exactly. I'm just going home," He said "What's up?"
Yoora looked at Hyelin. Hyelin felt something off about the girl, but she choose to ignore it.
"Can I Uh talk to you alone for a second?" She asked.
Yukhei looked back at Hyelin. He didn't want to talk to some girl right now. Especially with everything going on in his love life.
"I have to go. I'll catch up with you tomorrow," She smiled leaving the pair alone.
Yukhei mentally slapped himself. So much for trying to get back on Hyelin's good side.
"Rumor has it that you and Haru broke up," Yoora said a bit too hopeful.
Yukhei's eyes widened. How did word of their break get out so quick? They weren't even officially broken up.
"Uh no we're still together. We're just taking a break," He said "Sorry to disappoint. I've gotta go."
Yoora stood there confused. She was sure she just saw Haru crying in the girls bathroom. What did he mean they were on a break? She rolled her eyes and headed back to the school into the bathroom.
"Haru," She spoke as she heard sobbing.
Haru stopped sobbing and the door to one of the stalls opened. She peeked out of the stall and saw Yoora there.
"Do I know you?" She asked sniffling.
She had never seen or interacted with this girl ever. So how does she know her?
"Are you and Yukhei together?"
Haru raised her brow, ignoring the question. Was she and Yukhei still together? Yes but they were on a break, which could mean they won't be together.
"We're on a break," She admitted, "But I'm scared he's gonna break up with me soon for another girl."
Yoora took out her phone and sent a text before leaving the girl to cry again in the stall.
Hyelin got home and changed out of her uniform. She didn't know what Yuta had planned so she went for a casual look. While waiting, she decided to check up on social media. She made a new account for her photos so she didn't have to worry about having 20k plus followers on her main account.
