The two stood there, frozen for a moment. Until finally the girl broke the silence. "Can I uh.. squeeze past ya?" She asked with a embarrassed smile. Silas blinked and realized he had been staring at her for more than a minute now. HIs face flushing brightly. "Oh umm.. uh sure. Sorry about that." He murmured stepping back to hold the door for her. The girl stepped past him, her hair lightly brushing against him as she did. Silas felt his heart skip a beat and he looked at her again. It's...it's really her. He thought, unable to look away.

The girl moved over to the counter in front of the secretary, a bit more straightforward than SIlas had. "Excuse me Miss could I have my schedule please?" She asked the secretary. The lady looked up to her and smiled brightly. Her eyes lighting up a little as she was addressed in what Silas guessed was a more polite manner than he had used. "Sure honey. What's your name?" She asked. The girl hesitated a moment then answered quietly almost under her breath. "My name's Lilly." The secretary opened a drawer in her desk and flipped through the files. "Last name?" Lilly shifted her weight and held her hands behind her. "Winters" She said softly but a tad louder than before.

The secretary smiled as she found the folder she was searching for. She pulled it out and set it on her desk. "Ah here it is." She said to herself opening it and taking the schedule out. She stamped it at the top and slid it across to the girl. "There you go Sweetie. Classes are almost over today. But your class right now should be science with Mrs. Cordell. Welcome to Woodsdale High School Ms. Winters." Lilly thanked her and turned to walk out.

Silas had just turned to leave having decided he shouldn't be listening in, but caught the door shakily and held it for her. "Thank you." She said softly and walked past him. Silas blinked watching her go and bit his lip. Not sure what he should say or do, only knowing he couldn't let her walk away. "Hey uh wait a sec!" He called. Lilly turned in surprise. "Yeah?" She asked in her soft gentle voice. Silas thought for a moment, then made his decision. "I have Mrs. Cordell right now. I could walk you to her class." He offered unsure how she would take it.

"Like if you would like me to. You don't have to or anything I just..thought it might be helpful. Since you're new and stuff." He added, mentally slapping himself. I probably sound so stupid..no one talks like this! Luke would have a riot right now.. "I'd like that." She said with a bright smile. Silas blinked, not sure he had heard her correctly but nodded putting on a smile. "Okay then." He replied unable to say more. He walked over to her and motioned down the hall with his hand. "It's uh.. this way." He said trying to gain control of his voice again.

Lilly smiled a bit and started walking that way. Silas stepped in stride with her, his mind racing with thoughts that flashed through his mind like strikes of lightning one after the other.. How is she here? Is she sticking around? Does she like me? Or think I'm a complete moron..oh gods why me? "So what's your name?" Lilly asked pulling him out of his thoughts. "I'm uhh.." He started nervously. "You're uhh?" Lilly asked in a teasing tone. Silas frowned slightly. Realizing she was messing with him. She's just getting to my head. He thought to himself.

"I'm Silas." He said finally. Lilly smiled and seemed to take a mental note of his name. "Silas huh? That's a interesting name. I'm Lilly." She replied after a moment looking at him. "Oh. That's a nice name." He said awkwardly, trying to cover up the fact he already knew it. Lilly laughed and Silas questioned who the real angel was for a moment. He shook his head to clear it. "Anyways. I think you'll like Mrs. Cordell. She's a really nice teacher." He said trying to change the conversation.

Lilly looked at her schedule, reading over it to herself. "So Mrs. Cordell... she's the science teacher?" She asked looking over to him. Silas nodded. "Yeah she teaches an awesome chemistry class. We get to do lots of labs and stuff. I swear like half of them are illegal." He said. Lilly smiled abit. "Sounds like fun." She replied going back to reading her schedule. They walked in silence for a few seconds as she read her classes. "Do you have any of these classes?" She asked offering him her schedule.
