("Never be ashamed of what you feel. You have the right to feel any emotion that you want, and to do what makes you happy." -Demi Lovato)
The first thing I expected after opening my eyes today was to see Niall and Sophie on top of each other.
Thankfully I didn't.
Sophie is laying still on her bed, her head turned the other way.
I quietly, get down and grab my toiletry bag off my side of the closet.
I take a quick shower and come back to the dorms to see Sophie sitting up, smirking at her phone. Oh dear, I wonder what she is looking at. No wait, I don't think I want to know.
She glances at me and rolls her eyes before turning her attention back towards the device in her hands.
"You do know that it's a pupil free day today right?" She speaks not making eye contact with me which I am glad for.
"Thanks for letting me know." I say politely. I wonder if we can ever be friends?
Shoot.
It was my first day at work yesterday! I freaking missed out on my first day at work. This is so bad. Niall's friend, Dan, who gave me the job must be so disappointed with me. These anxiety attacks are getting on my last nerve. But they always have their control over me.
I have so much to do today.
I have to catch a bus to all those places I have to go. I seriously need to buy a car soon. It's almost impossible moving around without a damn car.
I quickly throw on my long yellow skirt followed by a multi-coloured flowered top which covers half of my arms of course.
"Are you fucking serious? It's fucking 30 degrees outside incase you didn't know." Sophie groans while her feet dangles above the floor.
I don't reply to that statement because I don't want to start a fight when I already have enough to worry about.
The doorknob twists open and a person steps in the room. Niall. God, is there such a rule as 'boys cannot be in the girls' dorms?'
Niall eyes me for a second before parting his lips. "Are you off to somewhere?"
I nod while putting my phone and some money in my small purse.
"Babe!" Sophie screeches as she reaches over to Niall and pulls him for a kiss.
For some reason, it hurts. It hurts to see him with someone else. It hurts to know that I can never be that special one for him.
Niall surprisingly pushes her away. "Not in the mood."
"Are you fucking saying no to me? Dude you know I don't take no's from people." Sophie laughs.
"Are you coming?" It takes me a moment to realize he is talking to me. I point at myself and ask to make sure, "Me?"
"Do you think there's anyone else in the room except you and this fuck up that I am not interested to start a conversation with?" He refers to Sophie as the fuck up I suppose. I thought I heard Sophie telling Niall to make love to her less than 12 hours ago? What's up with their mood swings?
"Where am I going with you?" I say while putting on my sandals. I must say I look okay today unless Niall throws some comment at me of course.
"Wherever you were going?"
"Oh, no thank you. I will catch a bus." I give him a small smile and witness Sophie flaring with anger beside him. I should leave this place before she looses it on me.
Niall rolls his eyes. He approaches me and grabs my hand gently. "Lets go."
..
I got those hideous bandages off by the doctor. Scars are literally glowing on my hand right now. As if I didn't have enough already.
The doctor said I am fine now, which is a relief for me.
I asked Niall to drop me off but we are sitting at the petrol pump right now waiting for our fuel tank to get filled. "Are you feeling alright?" Niall asks me as we both watch the staff fill our car.
"I'm fine."
"Isn't that what you say all the time?" Niall groans.
"Sir, it's all done." The man smiles. Niall nods and we load onto the car. "You could've thanked him you know." I shrug.
"I don't thank people." Niall mimics my voice.
I shut up before the environment in the car gets worse and we end up crashing into something.
..
It was a short day at work today. I didn't realize how fast time was passing by. Niall said he was going to come to pick me up. I have been standing under the dark sky since the past half an hour but there is no sign of him.
After more 10 minutes, I notice his rover slowly drive towards my direction. "Come on." He says, without apologising. Sorry, I forgot that Niall Horan doesn't apologise to people.
"Lets go to the park. I got some sandwiches that we can eat." Niall suggests while driving.
"Since you're telling me and not asking, you might as well drive there." I tell him bitterly. He doesn't respond and soon halts beside the road. We both step out onto the road and Niall grabs some packets from the back seats.
"Here." He hands me a sandwich. I thank and take it from him. I keep the sandwich finely wrapped on my palms. Food..food doesn't affect me as much now.
"Don't you like chicken sandwiches?" Niall asks me observing my actions. "I will eat it later." I lie. He shrugs.
"Lets go." Niall says after five minutes. Why did we come here in the first place?
"To where?" I ask, annoyed. I had a tiring day and I am exhausted. Niall moving around like this is annoying me.
