("The only words you'll regret more than the ones left unsaid, are the ones you use to intentionally hurt someone." -Taylor Swift.)

It has been a week and this stupid cold still hasn't left my systems. I have been sneezing and coughing continuously in my dorm room. I haven't attended any of my classes in the past week and Louis has been bringing me all the notes everyday. As for Sophie, she comes and goes without me even realizing it.

Niall has surprised me a lot in the past week. First of all, I am surprised he actually decided on even thinking of me after I sneezed on his face. Second of all, he has been leaving gifts for me everyday outside my dorm door. On Monday, I got a tiny little stuffed puppy with the note, "Sometimes, the hardest thing and the most right thing are the same." -Niall

On Tuesday, I found two Dairy Milk chocolates outside my door, with the note, "Chocolate makes everything better."- Niall

On Wednesday, I found two blood red roses with the note, "Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns. But I am thankful because thorns have roses."-Niall

On Thursday, I found a packet of macaroons with the note, "It is the sweet simple things of life which are the real ones after all."- Niall

Yet, on Friday, I found a box of Ice Cream which was of course melting by the time I found it, with the note, "Without ice cream, there would only be darkness and chaos."- Niall

Yesterday, which was Saturday, another box of chocolates was placed outside my dorm door with the note, "Life without chocolate is like a day without sunshine."-Niall

I don't get him at all. Why is he spending money on me without any reason? The little gifts from him have been so sweet. He confuses me though. He never knocked- well he has a pair of keys to this room because of Sophie, so he could just come in. He didn't do that. I wonder why?

That's why, even in this sick state, I woke up early today. The sun has just risen and its light is slowly brightening up outside. I am sure he comes around this time and sneaks in the gifts.

I run my fingers through my unruly brown hair and wait patiently by the door. I lean against the hardwood of the door and try to observe every sound.

Suddenly, heavy footsteps come up the stairs. You know how you can tell by someone's sound of walking that who they are? It's Niall I'm sure.

I pull open the door just in time and a shocked Niall stands in front of me, his mouth slightly parted.

"Um, hey, good morning." His thick accent makes my morning instantly. He takes his hand away and hides something behind him.

"Good morning to you too. You do know that I know these presents are from you, right?" I ask, trying my best not to smile.

"Um, kinda?" He gives that crooked smile of him which blows my mind away every time.

"What have you got today?" I ask with a smirk.

"The final gift." He smiles widely.

He brings his hand forward and exposes the little round packet. "Here you go."

I greedily take the packet from him. His quotes have been the thing that start my mornings now. I can't wait to see what he has got to say today.

Without further wait, I tear open the wrap of the brown packet and a flower crown comes out with a note. "I like you more than those flowers."-Niall.

I smile at him and he returns my smile.

It is a similar flower crown that I wore to the fair with him. It has tiny little pink and white fake flowers and the wire holding it is green. "It is beautiful. Thank you." I tell him, still admiring my new present.
