Chloe's POV

"Ahh" I woke up and could feel warm sunshine on my face. Yesterday had been weird. I can't believe that Tristan busted open the shower door. I mean, It may have been jammed, but it wasn't like the plug was blocked and the shower couldn't turn off. He couldn't exactly drown, no matter how much he insisted he did.

I slipped on a pair of jeans and a plain t shirt and slumped downstairs. "Morning all" I cried but it seemed that "all" weren't there. The only person that was downstairs was Seth. "Hey" he replied. I sat next to him on the sofa. "So where's the other two?" I asked. He thought about it for a second. "Well Tristan's still in bed, but Mags went out to meet Asketel, I think?" "I can't believe that Tristan's still in bed, I thought he usually gets up earlier?" "Yeh, so did I. I think it's because he's still "Traumatised" from yesterday."

Just then the front door opened. Now was the moment of truth, we can meet Asketel. Me and Seth gave each other the same nervous look and leapt off the sofa. We sprang towards the door and watched it open. Yet it wasn't Mags or who we thought was Asketel. "Special delivery for Maggie Swindon." It was the postman. "Umm, she's not here at the moment" said Seth. The man got Seth to sign it and left. Seth put the package down and just afterwards I heard Tristan plod down the stairs.

"How're you fee...?" I was about to ask but remembered he couldn't talk. He shrugged and waved his hands to signal he was "ok". Then he just plodded straight into the kitchen. Me and Seth followed him and watched him casually take a bowl out of the cupboard and pour some cereal into it. "You have no consideration for other people do you?" stated Seth. Tristan sighed and pointed at Seth and then pointed at his own teeth. "So what if I don't eat, I didn't help myself to a cup of blood." Tristan stood up and walked over to the fridge. He grabbed some milk and a red mug. I assume the red mug was full of blood as he handed it over to Seth.

He poured some milk on his cereal and gave me a smile before eating. Seth was about to put the mug back when I stopped him. "Why don't you just have some? I'm sure Mags won't mind if you eat." He shrugged "yeh, then you'd better eat something as well." Yeh, I'm getting hungry and could use something to eat. I walked to the same cupboard Tristan did and got some breakfast.

Once we had all finished we sat there in silence. Tristan quickly ran upstairs and when he came back down he had a pen and a notebook. Seth smirked "What exactly do you want to talk about?" Tristan scribbled down something on the paper and then revealed it "what training we're doing today". Seth groaned, "Do I have to train you." Tristan wrote down in large letters "YES". Seth replied "Tough, get someone else to do it." Tristan scrawled down something else "Piss off garlic breath". At first Seth looked angry but then he calmed down, you can talk, oh wait I forgot you can't." Tristan stood up and walked past Seth. For once he was being the bigger person, or so I thought because as he walked past he shoved Seth making him spill blood down his shirt.

Seth's fangs pocked out and all I could do was watch as Seth sprang towards him and Tristan span round but was bombarded by an angry vampire. I ran towards them but there was nothing I could do. It was a blood battle and I didn't want to die amongst it. Looks like I'll have to so what Tristan couldn't. "STOP!" I yelled at the top of my voice. They both froze.

"But he..."Seth began but realised he was being irrational, "Can't I eat him?" I gave him a look. "Seth! I know that you're a vampire but that was just stupid, I thought you were better than that." I gave him a dirty look and turned to Tristan "And you! What do you think you're playing at? Are you totally thick, and no that's not a trick question? Seth is a vampire and vampires are brutal killing machines. Seth is pretty friendly as far as vampires go. Just leave each other alone."

We stood in silence for a minute or two and then the door opened. This time it really was the moment of truth as Mags and Asketel stepped in. All three of us just stared at him. He had black shaggy hair that was a bit longer than his ears, and his eyes... They were dark brown but they practically looked black in the light. But only his eyes were the demon type feature. He was just a bit taller than me and looked about my age. He looked just like a normal human.

"This is Asketel" said Mags as she ushered him inside. She pointed towards me "this is Chloe, Tristan and Seth." They walked inside and we stood there uncomfortably. "Hey, I'm Seth." He said as he shook hands with Asketel. Asketel just gave a small smile and said nothing more "Tristan showed me a piece of paper he quickly wrote on "He already knows that T_T" I grinned. "Well what are we all standing around for, let's sit down and I'll get you all a cup of something" said Mags as we followed her into the lounge.

Mags walked straight through the lounge and into the kitchen whilst we sat down. I sat next to Seth on the two seater and Tristan sat with Asketel on the large sofa. "So, what type of Demon are you? As you probably know, I'm a vampire." Seth said trying to make conversation. Asketel just shrugged "I never found out." We just sat there in complete silence until Seth tried to break the Tension again. "So... have known Mags for long?" "Not really." It looks like Seth's efforts had failed.

We kept sitting there and then Mags came in with a tray of cups. She handed them out but I was really curious to see what Asketel had in his cup. I mean he is a demon so it's probably something weird. To my disappointment when I looked in I could just see water. "Today your training will begin and after a couple of days you four can set out on your quest" said Mags as she sat down. After that nothing was said by anyone as we drunk our tea, blood or water.
