Tristan's POV
It was really weird because I wanted to believe Seth...I really did. I mean, why would he even bother lying...however, no-one else seemed to believe him either...and the idea that he was trying to get us to believe, well, it wasn't too believable.
Think about it...Blood demons...disguised as humans?! How the heck would they do that!! Why the heck would they do that!? They're on our team...maybe his tiny little vampire brain is corrupt...because it just doesn't make sense...oh well, either way, everyone is fine, and we really need to get going. "Come one guys... look, if Seth was wrong then nothings gonna happen...if he was right then we will all live horrible and painful deaths, either way, everyone's a winner." I grinned at them but my smile faded as the only one that seemed to be grinning was Destiny, and as soon as she saw that everyone else was not amused...her smiled faded too.
Everyone walked past me, in disappointment. I had completely forgotten about...what happened. I guess that the others hadn't. Especially not Chloe; she's been through so much. I'm such an idiot. I just find it so hard to be serious, the only time I'm actually serious is when I'm angry, upset or scared. Unfortunately, the whole 'breaking the tension' thing only works if you have people that can joke around too.
We continued to plod on along the pavement. I put my hands in my jean pockets and looked up at the sky. I have to admit it...I wish I had the chance for a normal life. I could be looking up at the sky on a summer's day without a care in the world. Maybe I wouldn't be such a jerk...on second thoughts maybe I would. But however it turned out, I would be content. In fact the only reason I have for going on this quest is for Seth and Chloe. I have nothing against Asketel and Destiny...but to be honest, I wouldn't have a care in the world if I had never met them.
We had been walking for so long and my feet were begging to ache. Every bone in my body was begging to ache! Now that the tension had cooled off a bit, I thought it would be a good time to ask a few questions; a few sensible questions.
"So...where exactly are we headed guys?" Chloe paused and so we all stopped after her in unison. "Yeah? Where are we going?" She questioned. Seth looked like he was about to say something but he was interrupted by Destiny. "Look we just need to catch this train. Then we have a 3 mile trek to and then through the field. Once we get to the middle of the there should be a portal to the new world. Then we go inside, grab and neutralise the gem of Ormuran and the darkness of the world disappears, or whatever."
Wow! Is that really what we're on this mission for! How the hell are we gonna do that! Seriously, Chloe, no offence or anything but she's just a normal human. Then there Seth, your average vampire jerk, and he seems to have a soul or something. Asketel, random demon cat...and Destiny, hell knows who she is??!! Then finally me, your average, half crazed, demon prick! We have absolutely no chance.
The others just nodded and we continued walking towards the train station. Again, All I could do was reflect on what had happened. Everything we had gone through...and everything still to come...

Sorry, that was probably really boring and super lame...I promise the next chapter will be much more exciting ^_^
