I'm so glad that I've finally uploadedf, because even I wanted to know what was goign to happen next. So please try and enjoy, because the reason I say try is due to the fact that this chapter is preety deppressing towards the end.

Tristan's POV:

I looked around. I noticed Asketel as he began trotting towards me. He must have realised that I was nervous because I was pacing up and down. He sighed, "You know she's going to find out someday or other...why not toda..." I cut him off "No. She...doesn't have to know, never, not ever will she find out..." "Well are you sure you're ready to go through with this." "I suppose I'll have to be."

Just at that second Chloe pocked her head out the door and smiled. She seemed very happy to be going on this quest, it was sweet. I smiled back as she came closer and ran past Asketel to hug me. "I missed you so much." Asketel swivelled round to watch the embrace "Are you alright...she didn't hurt you, did she..." "No everything's fine, I'm good, and I'm glad you're ok too." "oh that's...Hold on! You can talk again." "Oh yeah."

I had completely forgotten that just a few days ago I couldn't talk. That cat...Wait the cat was Asketel, he, he scratched me. He must have a lot of powerful magic in him to do something like that. I wonder if I should tell Chloe about him being a Cat? I mean, she does know that he's a demon...

"So?" She questioned "How did you get back to normal?" "Umm," I said trying to think on my feet, but was luckily saved by Asketel. "Well, it really was the burglar alarm. Something like that anyway. Maggie knew that it would wear off soon and so she had to get rid of Tristan quickly before he ruined her plan." "Oh, but what were her plans anyway?" "To Destroy the world yada, yada , yada. But the thing was that she wanted to destroy you first, because she thinks that you control the fate of the world or something and if she can control you" Chloe finished his sentence "She can control the world. Ok, I've got it."

We all walked over to Seth and Destiny who were just standing there blanketed in silence. "So are you ready?" Seth asked me. " Yep." I mumbled. "Ready for what exactly?" Chloe questioned me " I can't tell you...Sorry." "ok." She sighed as they turned round and began to step away from the house. I stood there still, as they began to head off into the distance and Chloe turned round to give me a weak smile as she began to plod into the distance.

I sighed. This was going to be hard, and If something went wrong it would only be my fault...I just hope that nothing will go wrong.

Chloe's POV

Why? Why couldn't he just tell me? What was he hiding? Why? Well, No matter what, I was going to find out what was going on and I needed to find out now!

"Umm, Can I quickly go to the toilet" Ok I know it sounds stupid but I've got to have some excuse. "Sure, but where's the nearest?" "Umm, I think I saw one as we went past." "Really? I must have missed that one" replied Seth. "Well, I'll only be a few minutes." I began to walk away and could just hear Seth mutter something to Asketel. "Shouldn't we stop her?" Asked Seth "No, she was going to find out sooner or later..."

The conversation began to fade out as I walked towards the house. Soon I picked up my pace, I walked faster and faster and it soon became a sprint. We had walked further than I had thought, but I soon reached the house and my eyes widened. In front of me were Maggie and this, this creature. I can only assume it was Tristan because he was nowhere to be seen.

It was wresting with Maggie who was incredibly strong for an old demon woman but the, thing, that she was wrestling with was so...so, I don't know. I looked at its shiny skin, those spikes that ran along its back, the jagged teeth pointing out those hollow empty eyes...

This was the same creature that I saw behind the locker. The same thing that I thought was trying to kill me. He lied, he told me he was a human. Why? Why did there need to be so many lies, what for? What happened to the trust that I thought we had. And I didn't want to say it, I hated myself for it, but...Just being around Tristan like this makes me feel sick. As this...monster.

Tears began to stream down my face and Tristan shot round. He must have seen me crying because he screeched with rage and Slashed at Maggie as franticly as he could. I dropped to my knees and wept, my bitter tears filling my heart with sorrow...and hate...for myself...and Tristan.
