The year: 1114AD
Location: Naples, Italy

Elijah and Rayna arrived on the port of Naples.
They had grown tired of the Americas after thirty-four years of roaming the wooded lands.
So they had found their way to Italy to start anew, not realising the memories that awaited them.

"My family have property here. We'll stay there during our time here." Elijah turned to his love.
They took a coach to the Mikaelson castle.
Rayna hadn't seen anything like it since England.
The gates opened, revealing many servants and hand maidens bustling about doing their duties. Rayna noticed someone see the coach as it approached the large stairs to the front doors and ran up to greet them.
"Lord Elijah!" She gasped as the Original vacated the coach.
"Good morning, Juliette." He smiled. "I trust you've been keeping well in my family's absence." The hand maiden smiled in return, nodding.
"Your brother and sister are here. They've been here for about two years now, Lord." She said.
Elijah was slightly surprised.
Rayna noticed his gaze widen slightly at her words. As far as she knew, there was only Niklaus and him. She never knew he had a sister.
"Which brother would that be?" Elijah asked, shuffling under his feet.
"Lord Niklaus, my lord. He had quite the tales when he arrived. He only planned on stopping by until he realised Lady Rebekah was here."
Juliette didn't quite understand the Original's shock.
"Very well." Elijah gave a poor attempt at a half smile. "Do show us to them, my dear."
Juliette nodded and scurried up the stairs, leading the pair to the great hall.
"Lord Niklaus, Lady Rebekah. You have company." She announced as the doors to the hall were opened by two guards.
Elijah and Rayna came into the view of the Original's younger siblings and, as they did, Niklaus and Rebekah gasped with pure shock.
"Elijah!" The Original sister yelped, leaving her seat and Vamp speeding into her older brother's arms.
"Hello sister." He smiled, breathing in her scent.
Rayna stood there, not ignoring the two, but simply focused on the younger brother.
Niklaus' gaze never left her, either. All of the emotions and memories he'd attempted to clear from his mind for the past three and a half decades flooded back.
As for Rayna, she felt complete again. She had a family back.
"Niklaus." She breathed, running to him as he stood up from his seat at the end of the elongated oak table.
They embraced each other for the first time in thirty five years.
"I've missed you." She whispered into his shoulder-length curls.
"I've missed you too." He whispered back.

After changing out of their travel clothes and having introduced Rebekah to Rayna, they decided to walk around the town, taking in the Mediterranean sun.
Rayna wore one of Rebekah's dresses; a red floor length dress, decorated with gold accents and floral pattern on the skirt, where Rebekah was wearing a sky blue dress with white accents and trumpet sleeves.
Five men stood on awooden stage, five rather well-built men with magnificent, identical tattoosrunning from the left side of their chests to their right wrists. Between them was a large locked box, big enough for a man to only just fit inside.
"What's this all about?" Rayna asked.
"These demons live among you!" One of them announced. "So witness with your own eyes!"
With that, he over-dramatically opened the box, revealing a pale, scrawny man. He vacated the box, clad in chains and as soon as the sun hit him, he began to burn. Rayna glanced between the Originals.
"He's putting on quite the show." Elijah mumbled to Niklaus.
"He's nothing." Niklaus shrugged. "I could eat him for sport."
Elijah sighed. "Still, you should heed the warning. Between you here and Kol in the east, you haven't been discreet. Stories of the Original Vampires are spreading." Niklaus chuckled. "I welcome such infamy. But if you're worried about discretion, perhaps you should wrangle our sister."
Rayna hadn't noticed that Rebekah had left the group and made her way to the front of the stage, looking awfully intrigued.
Once the violent display had ended, the Original sister approached one of the tattooed men. He smiled and kissed her hand and Rayna watched as they talked, Rebekah clearly flirting.
She sighed as they walked arm in arm through an archway out of the centre of town.
"Should we be worried?" Rayna asked the brothers.
Elijah and Niklaus chuckled.
"Our sister is more than capable of handling herself. She's her own force to be reckoned with." Niklaus replied.

The three remaining Vampires had been back at the Mikaelson castle for hours before Rebekah came home.
"Where have you been?" Niklaus asked, clearly angered.
"I was with Alexander." Rebekah said, simply.
Elijah and Niklaus looked between each other.
"He's one of the Five. The group at the 'How to Kill a Vampire' display today." The Original sister continued.
The brothers nodded, knowingly.
"What were you doing?" Rayna asked as she sat down at the dining table in the hall.
"I was finding out more about them. Apparently, a witch made a band of super Vampire hunters. They're stronger and faster than normal humans and their tattoos are the mark of the Five." Rebekah explained.
"It took you all day to find that out? You're losing your touch, little sister." Niklaus smirked.
Rebekah shied all of a sudden and, as soon as Rayna noticed, she knew exactly what had happened.
"You like him." She teased.
Rebekah stood upright into a rather defensive position.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." She practically spat.
Elijah and Niklaus chuckled to themselves.
"It would seem that is the case, my dear." Elijah looked to Rayna.
Rebekah frowned, getting impatient with her present company.
"And what if I do?" She stuck her nose in the air, folding her arms.
Niklaus scoffed. "He's a Vampire hunter, Rebekah."
"We all have our flaws, Nik..." She mumbled.
"Yes and his flaw is that as soon as he finds out what you are, he'll kill you without skipping a heartbeat." Elijah countered.
Rebekah simply huffed and stormed her way to her chambers.
