Chapter 19

Rey quietly closed the door behind her before slipping off her shirt and tossing it into the hamper next to her.

"Fuck," She sighed as she gripped her side, walking to the bedside table and flipping on the light.

Rey slowly turned to her bed, pulling her suit case from under her bed. She quickly rummaged through the bag for her sweatpants but soon realized that hers were gone and nowhere to be seen.

"Are you kidding me, first seven hours of bullshit and now this- my god." Rey groaned as she shoved her suit case back under the bed.

"Oh, Poe has some- yes Poe has some." Rey mumbled to herself as she whipped herself around.

As Rey turned to her roommates bed, a look of horror slowly washed over her face. "Oh my god!" Rey gasped as she clutched her chest.

Lieutenant Ren, Rey's teacher, sitting across from her on her roommates bed while she stood in front of him in a black bra.

Ren sat smugly, his hands laced together in front of him intimidatingly. "Didn't seem like seven hours." He smirked.

Rey fumbled with her brace strap as she tried to shrink herself. "Lieutenant Ren what- uh- what are you doing here. In my room."

Ren slowly eyed the girl before standing tall on his feet and walking to the calendar that hung on the wall next to Poe's bed. "Well I just wanted to stop by and visit Dameron but apparently he's not in his usual dorm so I was pointed here."

As Ren loomed over the girl, Rey's eyes remained on the carpet below. "Well, um, Poe isn't here he had to get something from his car."

"I can wait." Ren replied quickly. Rey's heart dropped as she felt her instructors eyes trail along her body.

"Uh, well I have to change so if you want to wait in the hallway that would be fin-"

"You need to control your nervous tics when you talk my dear." Ren interrupted as he slowly walked around the room, examining the walls along with Rey's posters.

"What?" Rey shifted her eyes.

"When you get nervous you say 'uh' a lot. It'll damage your grammar if you don't break that habit."

Rey furrowed her eyebrows as Ren brushed past her, standing on the side of her bed. "So I've been told." She muttered.

"What is the Neighbourhood." Ren choked out as he scanned a poster on Rey's wall. "It's a band. A good one." Rey responded.

"Your favorite?" He asked as he glanced to her. Rey fixed her eyes back onto the carpet yet again as she snapped her bra strap against her shoulder. "Yeah."

"Hm." Ren hummed. His thumb padded against his lip softly. Rey carefully stepped out of his way as he walked around the room slowly.

"It's so.. plain in here." Ren scoffed. "Like a dentist office."

"Well I haven't really had time to decorate its my second day here." Rey shrugged. Ren smirked to Rey as he stopped in front of her.

"You're so insecure." Ren mumbled. Rey narrowed her eyes and fixed her gaze on his. "What?"

Kylo treaded towards the girl and stood in front of her, towering over her small stature. "Look at yourself," He hinted, "You're trembling, covering your body- you're petrified."

"You can call me insecure but one thing I am not is petrified." Rey pierced his gaze. The sudden change of pitch in the small girl's voice startled Ren as he gazed down at her.

"Prove it." He muttered quickly.

Rey pinched her lips together as she stepped forward, bringing her hand up and connecting it to the side of his face, as a smack echoed throughout the room

Kylo watched, almost in slow motion, as his hair flung in front of his face. Turning back to the girl, Ren rubbed his cheek. Tingling sensations rippling through his skin and fingertips.

As Ren opened his mouth to say something, Rey quickly gripped Ren's collar, wrapping her fingers around the cotton fabric, and pulling herself into him.

Rey flinched as their lips soon connected with a punch. She hated the fact that she was kissing the man who harassed her on multiple occasions, but she couldn't help herself.

He was like a train wreck all by himself. He was toxic and off limits but all the best fruit is forbidden.

Surprised at her sudden actions, Ren slowly closed his eyes and wrapped his massive hands around the Rey's tiny waist, pulling her into him.

Rey melted instantly, entangling her fingers into the charcoal forest of hair. "There." Rey tore her lips from his, pressing her hands into his chest and pushing him, "I'm not a pussy."

Ren, taken aback and frustrated, watched as Rey pulled open the closet in the corner taking out a shirt and throwing it on. She was so put together and clean but at the same time she had flaws and edges, but to him, she was perfect.

Rey felt as Kylo grasped her wrist pulling her back into his lips yet again. The feeling made her go insane for him. She wanted to kiss him forever but she knew she couldn't she wouldn't let herself.

Letting his lips travel across hers for a couple of seconds, Rey quickly pulled away but struggled as Ren's massive hands remained on the back of her neck and lower back.

"Ben!" Rey shouted as she finally broke away out of breath. Kylo's nostrils flared at the sound of his name leaving her mouth that his kiss still lingered upon.

"Control yourself!" Rey shouted.

"Control myself?! You just forced yourself onto me!" Kylo argued back.

"To prove a point, that's different than actual affection!"

"You wanted it and you loved every second!"

"You drive me insane! You're so ignorant and self absorbed that you can't even realize that you're so alone! You are incredibly alone!" Rey shouted as she pulled at the roots of her ponytail.

Kylo clenched his fists by his side, "I'm alone?! I could have any girl I want at this school, in fact I could go into the hallway right now and every girl would be willing to get on her knees and blow me!"

"That's what I'm fucking talking about, you're so ignorant about the fact that you are an asshole to people and not everyone will fall at your feet because you give authority at this school!" Rey shouted.

"What are you some sort of therapist or something?! I don't need you to tell me what I already know!" Ren shouted back. His eyes struggled to remain strong- but slowly soften.

Rey's face slowly relaxed as her eyebrows released from their intimidating position.

"When I saw you at that party before school, I-I thought you were amazing and beautiful. I was so nervous to talk to you that my friends forced me to!"

"Ben-"

"No! It's obvious that you can't stand my presence so I'll just go."

Rey watched as Ren pushed past her to the door. "What happened to girl I met at the party?" He asked as he quickly opened the door and exited.

Rey could only feel her heart tighten at the thought of breaking Ben's heart. He was so.. nice to her but she was so hypocritical and mean to him.

Suddenly the door flung back open, startling Rey. Her heart fluttered at the thought of Ben coming back but it was only Poe.

"What was he doing in here?!" Poe asked. As Rey opened her mouth to speak Poe caught glimpse of her bare chest. "What did he do?! Did he hurt you?!"

"No." Rey mumbled. She had hurt him.
