Dark Nights With Ashton

"Well here we are," Ashton turned off the engine as we were right in front of the house. Well actually we were staying at my friends house, Sienna. My parents kicked me out of my house for certain reasons and at that time I had no where to go. Ashton was off in Australia for some type of meeting/conference thing. So I could only turn to Sienna and she'd let me stay there till I found a new place.

Then when he came back, he found out where I was staying and decided to stay there with me. Let me tell ya, it wasn't all that pretty when he told his parents. Boy was it a fuss about it. They kinda got mad for him choosing to live with me. Especially the part where he told them I was his wife.

They didn't really like me, they thought I was too not good for him. Ashton always told me they were just going through a phase, but really whenever they saw me, it was like I was a bad vibe to them. I tried my hardest to be myself around his parents, but it didn't work.

On the other hand, my parents loved him, they just didn't like the fact that I was studying at the same time and was his girlfriend. My parents were strict, they would want me to study rather than be in a relationship. That's one reason they kicked me out. The other one...well let's not talk about that.

As I got my things out of Ashton's car, he grabbed his. "Ready?," he asked me. I nodded and smiled. We made our way into the house. We didn't need to knock, Sienna had already given me a key, but just me. So I took it out and unlocked the front door. "Lady's first," Ashton motioned his hand for me to go in.

I looked around and I didn't hear any noise. Hmm I wonder where Sienna could be. It was already Saturday morning, maybe she was still asleep? That sleepy head always went to sleep late and woke up late. I set my bag down near the stairs. Ashton closed the door behind him. "Sienna isn't home?," he asked while putting his bag next to mine. I shrugged,"I don't know."

I went upstairs to look for her. "Sienna?," I called out. I didn't hear a reply back. Man I was so sleepy, my eyes felt like they were ready to shut down. I rubbed them and went inside to her room.

"Sienna?," I said gently. There she was, sound asleep. Of course she was, what a sleepy head. I made my way out and left the door a tad open. Ugh so sleepy. I don't know how or who maybe helped, but I already felt myself asleep on the bed.

"Shh, shh there sleep babe you need rest," I heard Ashton's voice as my eyes drifted off.

I couldn't really remember what I dreamt during those hours. It was like vivd but at the same time, blurry. I just remember that I was running away from someone. I don't know who though. It could have been the same guy from the other dream, I wasn't sure.

Hours past by and I finally woke up. I groaned a little bit. "Oww," I gently said because my body was still aching. I sat up on the bed and as I turned to my left, Ashton was soundly sleeping. He looked so cute sleeping with his hair out of place. I lightly giggled to myself.

I got out of bed and went to check up on Sienna. She wasn't there anymore, her bed was empty. I went downstairs and went to look for her. When I made my last step, I heard noises.

"Sienna?," I called her. "Yeah? In here!!" She yelled out. I went to the kitchen and saw her there, in the kitchen. She wore an aquamarine long sleeves sweat shirt with jeans. Sienna was making some sort of food. "What are you making?," I caught a whiff of it. "Oh, I'm making spaghetti," she turned to me and gave me a smile.

"Good cuz I'm starving," I said as I sat down in a chair. My head hurt like crazy and my feet felt swollen. "How was camping?", asked Sienna. I made a hurtful groaning sound. "Tiring huh?," she was putting things into a pot. I nodded and made a painful face expression. It actually was, all the climbing and walking. I think I even lost a couple of pounds in that week.

"And how was it being alone with Ashton?," of course did Sienna have to ask this. I thought about that for a minute before fully answering. "It was wonderful actually," I said. I could see from the side of her face, which she had an evil, playful smile. "Ohhh yess I bet it was wonderful," she emphasized the word.

"What's that suppose to mean?," I looked at her. "Oh you know..did you guys well have sex?," she didn't even bother to pause at that last part. My eyes widen. What kind of question was that? I mean hmm maybe, but noo, we were just married, no sex, not yet anyhow. I could feel myself turning red and blushing.

"Really? You're asking me that? Noo we didn't, we just were camping and kissing but that's it," I lied to her. I didn't want to tell her what happened in the cabin. It didn't feel right.. yet.

"Where is he anyways?", Sienna asked as she got out bowls. "Oh he's asleep poor thing he is tired," and I too still was, but I felt like I had too much sleep and I was hungry. I looked at her as she began to serve spaghetti into the bowls. From my view, it looked really good.

"Here you are," she said, setting down the bowl in front of me. I looked at it with such desire to munch it all in one gulp. She handed me a fork and I began eating. Man, it felt so good to eat real food instead of those granola bars and sandwiches. Don't get me wrong they were good just not as good as this food.

Sienna set her bowl down and sat in front of me. She began eating like there was no tomorrow. After she chewed and swallowed, she asked ," so tell me what you guys really did during the camping trip." I laughed in between my chews. I shook my head and told her fine.

I told her about how when we first got there it was so big. "I didn't except the cabin to be so nice. Actually, I didn't even know he had gotten us a cabin, I thought we had to put up tents and sleep in there. He said some friend of his lived near the woods so Ashton rented the cabin for that week. It was a nice cabin like those in the movies."

"We went to walk around the woods, each day and we would explore a different route, but all of them would lead to this river which we made it to. It was pretty cool coming face to face with this river. I mean it was nothing special, but a lot of people made a big fuss about it."

"We came across wild animals, it was a cool sight. Ashton really liked it, you know how he is, all goofy. But we had a really good time and no we didn't have that, what you just said." I rolled my eyes at her. She just laughed and smirked. I finished telling her about camping and ate my spaghetti which was really good.

"That was good, I didn't know you could cook," I teased. "Oh shut up of course I can," she laughed. I got up and put my bowl in the sink. I sighed. "You're gonna wash that," I said to her. "Of course I am dummy," she smiled. Oh god, I thought. "I think I'm gonna go change into something else," I told her. She nodded.

I went back upstairs and into my room. As I entered, Ashton was up and about. He was holding his phone in his hand and pacing back and forth. I made a worried face. I took a step towards him. "Ashton? Are you alright?," I said slowly to him. He stopped and looked at me. His expression was like he had seen a ghost, all pale and frighten.

He took a deep breath before saying what was at the tip of his mouth," my parents are coming Diane...," he cringed a little.

Oh gosh nooo...I knew what that meant. No wonder he was so frighten. He wasn't scared for him, he was scared for me. They would come and judge everything about me. That I can't do this, I can't do that. Great..just what I need right now..I wasn't prepared for this. I wasn't ready to see them again...not yet anyhow.

I prepared myself for what was to come..
