Dear you,
"Love is just a four lettered word, not knowing the real power is in its act". Wow that sounded wrong. But don't worry! Im working on it.

I can't believe L. I mean who comes to somebody's house at midnight just to watch a movie? You might be confused at this point. So if you don't want to die of curiosity, then proceed on reading.

I was sleeping a deep sleep and dreaming about God knows what when I got several texts from L.

---Instant message---
L: hello?
   Open the door!!!!!!!
   Please!
   I have pizza
   Okay now hurry up
    What's taking you long????
Me: what on earth?
L: open the door!
Me: what door?
L: the door to my heart
Me: ???
L: you idiot the door to your house
Me: why?
L: if you ask another question I'm going to break open the door
Me: okay okay I'm coming

And not to my surprise, L was standing there with a wide smile across her face, a box of pizza in one hand and a CD in the other. At first it took me time to recognize her. Her red streaks were gone, I couldn't see her piercings and she was in a beautiful black dress. 

But to top it all off, my dad walked in. I wonder how weird it would have seemed to L. He told me that I should not forget about what he taught me. And I knew exactly what he was talking about.
"Protection is the key to everything. But not to you"- whatever that means

I was surprised at how casually L went to my room. Well who am I kidding? Its L we're talking about. Meanwhile I ran to the toilet to put a shirt on, things were already awkward enough. When I came out L was trying to put on a CD on my small T.V.

"What are you doing?", I asked

"Slaying the magic dragon. What do you think? I'm putting on a movie", she ended the sentence with a smile

"So you came here at midnight, to watch a movie? L we could have done that tomorrow!"

"I needed a place to take refuge from my parents. They took me to a boring party with wine and geeks", that explained her drastically changed look

"You are aware that we have college tomorrow, right?"

"Fully aware. Well are you going to watch the movie or not?"

Now don't blame me, but I prefer books over movies. I did not know a single thing that was going on in that movie. I think we only watched like half of it, after that we started talking.

"Clearly you don't watch movies", she said while pausing the movie and looking at me

"Clearly"

"Then what do you do in your free time? Study?"

"I read to increase my intellectual thinking and knowledge"

"Wow fancy words. So, what are you good at?"

"I'm a fair kisser". Now don't get me wrong but I actually didn't want to say that. It was midnight and I wasn't thinking straight. Plus, it was my dad who told me to say that if a girl asked  what you were good at.

"Prove it", Well I guess she was sleepy too.
