I sipped my wine, glancing at the time on my phone. I couldn't wait for my sisters to get here. We were having lunch at Mr. Chows and were finally gonna talk about this bachelorette party as well as some wedding plans. I hoped Janet wouldn't be too late but I knew she had a very important business meeting before she could sneak away to have lunch.
It was crazy because normally I was the last to arrive..but I had to be on time for something I arranged. And just as I was about to get bored, I heard my sister Trina weird, but cute little cackle. I smiled as I saw her and Towanda approach the table.
"Tonnnnni Michele is on time today... I think it's gonna rain Trina.." Towanda said jokingly as she gave me a hug as well as Trina. Her ass was just giggling and fooling up with Umba already.
"Ha ha... I had to be on time. I did ask you guys to come to lunch. Dang, no hi Toni? How's Diez? I'd even take how's life?" I said with a chuckle as I move some hair behind my ear. Trina and Towanda got comfy and it didn't take Towanda long to start her antics. She had to know why and everything. But, the way she was acting was so hilarious, you'd want to tell her just because. Besides, I didn't mind sharing my happiness. Even with my nosey, but loving sisters.
"Well.. you did FaceTime me with diez last night so I know he's good. Anddd with that ring on your finger Toni Michele life is amazing for you. My big sister is finally getting married, but my question is. How did she propose? Was it subtle, or smoothly spontaneous.. did she-"
"Umba, umba..." I said chucking.
"Well, I told mommy and Tay already.. but it was the most beautiful moment I could've ever experienced. My dream proposal honestly...So.. We went out to the beach for a date night...which is all I thought it was, she had a whole area set up for us. We ate, we talked, we drank.. I was totally clueless..then after a while, we walked along the beach..she grabs my hands, and started telling me how happy she was, how blessed she was to have me in her life. And how she's happy with her career, and with us having Diez..."
"You know, just really making my heart melt by her words..and that she couldn't ask for anything in this world....but this one thing and that was for me to be her wife. I said with a satisfied sigh as my eyes wanted to tear up, looking at my ring with the biggest smile. It sat so beautifully on my hand.
"And the best part is, I can even show you. She even had a secret photographer to capture it! How amazing is that?" I said scrolling to my photos, and when I found them and showed them to my sisters, I saw my beautiful fiance walk into the restaurant. She glanced around and immediately spotted us.
