4 - The Braxtons

I'd like to talk to you about something, meet me in the bathroom in 10 minutes.

That sentence lingered in my mind as I lean against the wall in the girls bathroom. It was clean for once, I was glad to notice that. Things were getting much better around here especially now that we have a new principle, that actually knows what he's doing.
Toni walked into the bathroom and she held the note in her hand as she approached me.

"I almost thought you weren't gonna show but I'm glad you did.. " I said as I smiled sweetly at her. Now that I found out Toni had a crush on me from reading her diary, I was all smiles...because I didn't think of her in that way at first, but now that I have, It's all I could think about.

"Well, there's a reason I wanted to talk to you alone..."
Toni moved some hair behind her ear, then licked her full lips. " Okay Jan, what's up?"

I took a deep breathe then shoved my hands in my pockets before I started to speak. "Okay so when your sister had your diary while I was at your house, and it fell....I kinda peeped and saw a page." As soon as I said that, Toni's cheeks looked like they were burning, she looked so embarrassed.

"Oh my gosh...did you see what I wrote?" She asked as she covered her face for a few seconds then she shook her head. She looked like she was cursing her sister out on the low, but it was absolutely fine and I thought that it was really cute.

I nod my head as I moved some hair behind my ear. "Yeah I did. I was shocked honestly...I mean...your a preachers kid." I said as I shook my head in disbelief, but then again I wasn't too shocked because where your from and how you are raised doesn't determine your sexuality.

"Yeah I kind of knew that was gonna be your reaction, but yeah." She shrugged her shoulders as she nod her head. "I find myself being attracted to Women."

"Well...I like you too Toni...I think your a really smart girl, and your pretty cute too. I like being partners with you." I said as I playfully nudge your shoulder. You giggle as you looked up at me with the most bashful smile on your face.

"Thanks Janet...your really sweet. And I like being your partner too." Toni said while smiling sweetly. After our brief conversation in the bathroom we headed back to class one after the other.

Toni and I presented our interviews to the class and we passed with a hundred percent A. We were both so happy about that, and to celebrate she invited me over for dinner after asking her mother if it was okay.

So I went home to do my homework, do my chores and rest a bit before I got ready and headed over to Toni's house for dinner. I was honestly pretty nervous, and I hoped her family liked me as well.
