35 - Wedding Day

That night...What Janet and I did to each other was something out of a movie. I didn't think sex could get as crazy, but so passionate. I could still see flashes the morning after..all throughout the day. And that's what sex with someone you love does to you.

It was like Janet tapped into me in a way I never knew possible. And it was the most beautiful thing I've ever experienced. Before our big day, Janet and I decided to spend the last hours with our families. To really reflect, and take the time to prepare for this amazing journey ahead of us. Janet was with her family and I was going to be with my sisters and mother.. but I was starting to miss her like crazy. Being apart from Janet was soooo hard...My emotions were on an all-time high. Of course, I was happy I was getting married...but...I loved my baby..being up under her is what kept me sane.

Before I spent these last hours with my family.
I wanted some time with Diezel. Just the two of us. So I wanted to spend some time with him somewhere calm, cool and peaceful. It was late in the evening at the beach, most people were gone...shifted over to the beach parties to spend all night partying by the water. Perfect time for me and Diez. I texted my sisters to let them know where I would be if they came looking for me beforehand... Once I got him all dressed, I packed him a little bag and headed out. We didn't live that far and I was glad he was calm the whole ride.

Diez didn't like being in his seat for very long periods but he was getting more tolerant. When we got there. I found a nice little spot for us out in the sand so I put out a blanket and we got comfortable. It was so peaceful. That pretty color in the sky as the sun was soon to set, the way the breeze blew through my hair felt so relaxing. I stare out at the water as I held my son. Rubbing his head as I was deep in thought...

"All these years of praying, hoping and I'm still nervous about being a wife.. I should be jumping around all giddy and excitedly. This is my dream, coming to reality. To walk down the aisle to the woman of my dreams..but you know what Diez? "

I said as I stand him up letting his little feet touch the sand. He was just looking and smiling at me. Even though my baby wasn't worried about me talking...he didn't even understand me.
I've talked to him since I found out I was pregnant.....just like this.

"This isn't just for me either.
This is for you too. When Janet first saw you....." I said thinking to the moment when she held Diez that first time in the hospital. I had watched as the nurse placed him in her arms. How she stared at him with those big brown Eyes. So happily.. I smiled hard at that as I hugged him and kissed his forehead.

"Gossssh....That look of such genuine love, that made me realize..she was truly the one. You get more of her attention sometimes... " I giggle as he smiled hard at me, I was making him laugh with little tickles.

"She loves you..you're her son. We're gonna be a family. Just like I promised. We're gonna travel, show you all sorts of places, give you so many memories...and more.

Diez.. this is gonna be the best thing for us."

I said as he was babbling away. We sat there for a while, but I got up and headed home. I could smell the rain coming. As I pulled up, my sisters were doing the same thing. I had come back just in time. When I parked we all greeted and I lead us inside.. Towanda took Diez upstairs to put to bed since he fell asleep in the car and the rest helped me bring the snacks I prepared beforehand to the living room. I moved the table a bit so we could be comfy and relax. Once Towanda came back down, we poured up some wine to get the night going
Towanda held up a glass and looked at me, and she smiled.
