In the dark days of my life
At the times of my sadness
The hours that I have troubled mind
I was alone.
With the pain I endured
To the cuts I have inflicted
Those restless nights I had
I was alone.
The days I was alone
The hours I long for a companion
The times I wish I was with someone
I was alone.
And so I decided to end my misery
And saw the people I longed to see, crying
That's the only time I was not alone.
