slow romantic ass song for some romantic ass sex
Santiago
I woke up and rolled over, rubbing my eyes as I looked over at a sleeping Adora.
I smiled and scooted closer to her. She somehow always woke me up, just seeing her.
She had a gift that other women didn't.
I rested my hand on her arm and pressed a kiss to her cheek, smiling against her skin.
I felt her lips pull up into a smile, her eyelashes brushing against my cheek.
"Buenos dias, Papi," she whispered, her hands on my cheeks as she smiled up at me.
I smiled down at her and brushed a few stray strands of hair out of her face. "Buenos dias preciosa."
She sighed and stretched, smiling up at me. "I slept so good last night."
"Same here," I said, falling on my back, "being romantic wears me out."
She giggled and threw an arm over my middle, scooting super close to me. I pressed a kiss to her forehead and she looked up at me, her lips pursed together.
"What is it?" I asked, smiling down at her.
She shook her head, resting it on my chest. "Nothing."
I knew it wasn't nothing, so I decided to change the subject.
"Do you have any plans for today?"
She sighed. "Yeah, I do."
"Yeah? What are those?" I asked, looking down at her.
She looked up at me. "I have to go talk to Landon and apologize for lashing out on Brenna the other night."
"Ouch," I said, "was it called for?"
"Yep," she answered.
"Did you mean everything you said?"
"Yep," she answered again.
"Well then maybe," I said, grabbing her hand, intertwining our fingers, "you have nothing to apologize about."
She sighed, shaking her head. "I just wish for once that I could live my life, the way I want, without any input from anyone that thinks they're being my friend."
I continued to play with our fingers, my lips puckered out. "Who the hell cares about what people think?"
She sat up, looking at me. "I usually don't, but I kinda have to now."
I furrowed my brows, leaning up on one elbow. "Why?"
She looked out of the window, shaking her head. "Losing Brenna is one story, but losing Landon is a whole other story."
I just looked up at her, sighing. "Sometimes you've got to let a friend know when they're in the wrong."
"Oh, I did," she said, "in front of everybody. I kind of made a fool out of myself, but whatever."
I laughed, brushing my thumb against her cheek. "That's my girl, speaking her mind."
She smiled down at me, grabbing my wrist.
"Alright," I said, patting her thigh with my free hand, "go make things right with your friend, and when you get done, I'll be waiting on you here so you can spill about how much you still hate people."
She giggled and leaned down. "I'll be back soon."
I smiled as she pressed her lips against mine in a kiss, my hand sliding around to her backside. I gave it a light slap, earning a giggle from her.
"You know," she said, "you're really good at life advice. Is it just because you've been around for so long, or what?"
She stood up and giggled, making me stand up and smile. I grabbed my shirt from beside the bed and she laughed as I chased her around the bedroom, catching up to her quickly and throwing her over my shoulder.
"Stop," she giggled out, "put me down."
I threw her down on the mattress and she smiled, her hands on my abdomen.
"But damn, do you look good to have been around for so long."
I just laughed and shook my head. "You're going to pay for that."

Adora
"Landon," I said for what seemed like the thousandth time as I banged on his door, "are you just going to ignore me for forever, or what?"
The door flew open and he stood against the doorframe. "Sounds rational."
I stopped the door with my hand before it could close, sighing.
He pulled me inside and closed the door, folding his arms over his chest.
"So?" He said, eyebrows raised, looking as if he was expectant of something.
"I'm sorry, Landon," I said.
He didn't respond, just looked at me, urging me on.
"I lashed out."
"Yeah, I was there," he said, grabbing a coffee cup.
"Landon, you know it was c-"
"No, Adora," he said, "I tried to have a nice dinner with you two. Obviously you two can't put your egos aside for thirty minutes to just sit down and have a nice meal."
"I know, Landon," I said, "it just came out-"
"What I'm failing to understand," he began, stirring his creamer around in his coffee, "is why you did it in front of everybody in that restaurant."
I didn't respond, just sighed and pursed my lips together.
"You didn't do yourself any favors by doing that," he said, "you embarrassed Brenna and I, and most importantly, yourself."
"I understand that," I said, "but Lan, you heard what she was saying. And that's not even half of it-"
"You could've taken it outside," he snapped, "you could've been two adults and not children and taken it outside. But you didn't."
"I did!" I yelled, "after you left, she followed me to give me a fact check on the man she doesn't even know!"
He didn't respond and I just took a few steps towards him.
"Do you have any clue what it's like?" I asked, "being with someone that makes you happy, and her constantly telling you that it's wrong?"
"No," he said, shrugging, "that's why she doesn't know about Nate."
My eyebrows went into a deep furrow. "Wait, what?"
He furrowed his brows. "I wouldn't tell Brenna about a relationship of mine if I was offered a million dollars. That's a little bit over the edge, but that's not the point. Anyways, I know what she's like. I know what she was like when she found out about you and Santiago last time. The only relationships she's ever supported even halfway was you and Derek, and her and Zayn. Point blank."
I just nodded. "Yeah."
"I want you to be happy, Adds," he said, "when you're happy, I'm happy, and that's a good thing. Don't let Brenna's opinion of Santiago stop you from feeling what you feel."
I smiled a weak smile. "I don't know," I said, leaning against the counter, "it's just scary to think about Santiago and I, by some miracle, moving on in our relationship. Getting married, you know? And she's not attending my wedding."
He looked over at me and flexed his jaw muscle.
"Did it really take one man to tear such good friends apart?" I whispered, looking up at him.
He smiled. "If it took one man to tear you two apart, maybe you two aren't as tightly wound together as you want to be."
I just nodded slowly.
He pulled me into him. "People come and go, Adds," he whispered, "but Landon, and by some miracle, Santiago King stay."

Adora
I walked inside and shrugged out of my jacket, pursing my lips together as I hung it on the coat rack beside the door.
I walked into the kitchen and stopped at the counter when I saw Santiago leaned against it, his eyes fixated on a paper in front of him.
I just smiled and cleared my throat, making him look up at me.
"Hey, baby," he greeted, "how'd it go?"
I nodded, my eyebrows raised. "It went fine."
He cracked a small smile. "You sure?"
I hesitated a moment, nodding slowly as I bit down on my bottom lip. "Yeah."
He furrowed his brows together. "It doesn't seem like it went fine."
I couldn't help myself. I dropped my bag on the ground and ran to him, wrapping my arms around his neck. I nestled my face in the crook of his neck, his arms hesitantly wrapping around my waist.
"What was that about?" He asked as I pulled away after minutes of hugging him.
I sighed, leaning against the counter. "I, uh, it's just that Landon said something."
He nodded, urging me on.
"He said, people come and go, but Landon and, by some miracle, Santiago King stay."
He took a moment to register what I'd just said, nodding slowly.
"Wise guy," he whispered.
I continued to just stare hopelessly at Santiago King.
"Can we go upstairs?" I asked, my hands on his abdomen.
He nodded, pushing himself off of the counter. "Let's go upstairs."
He led me upstairs and as soon as we got to his door he opened it, making my jaw drop at the inside of the bedroom.
Rose petals covered the bedspread, again, as they had a few mornings before; slow music was playing, the lights dimmed.
"I hope you like it," he whispered, his fingertips brushing against mine.
I looked up at him. "I love it."
He reached down and pressed a kiss to my lips, his hand grasping my jaw. I couldn't help myself from grasping the bottom of his shirt, his hand slowly gliding down my arm.
"You know," he whispered, "romance isn't really my forte. Not when it comes to sex, at least."
I just nodded, flexing my jaw muscle.
"But I kinda want to be romantic this time," he said, his hand brushing against my face, "I don't want to be fast and rough."
I just nodded erratically. "I like that a lot."
He boosted me up into his arms, walking towards the bed. He slowly laid me down on it, pulling his shirt off over his head.
Everything was almost like it was moving in slow motion compared to Santiago's usual sudden, erratic movements. He was being slow and gentle, and I really enjoyed it.
He pulled my shirt over my head, pressing tiny kisses down the valley of my neck and to my chest.
"Tell me," he whispered, "if it gets too-"
"It's going to be perfect," I said, grasping the back of his neck.
He nodded down at me and I unbuckled his belt, pulling it out of the belt loops and throwing it into the distance. I felt his hands tugging at my jeans so I unbuttoned them, sliding them down my legs.
"So beautiful," he whispered, his lips against my stomach, "so effortless, timeless," he trailed off, his kisses trailing up my body slowly but surely.
I pulled his lips up to my own and soon enough we had discarded all of our clothing, leaving us underneath the covers, his lips moving against mine slowly, gently.
He rolled a condom on and I pulled my bottom lip into my mouth, closing my eyes as I waited on him to bury himself inside me.
"You ready?" He asked.
I nodded. He slowly pushed himself into me, his hand covering mine, above my head.
His lips covered mine as he began to slowly move inside me, the feeling of him not going fast, as he usually did, a new sensation.
"You're so beautiful," he mumbled against my lips, his fingers sliding in between mine.
I let out a quiet moan, my fingernails digging into his back as he slowly thrusted into me.
He was being so romantic and gentle. His slow and soft kisses, his hand slowly gliding down my side, his hips moving against mine at a slow pace.
I was in love with the feeling.
"I've got you, baby," he whispered as he peppered kisses against my neck, "it's going to stay that way, got it?"
I nodded, pulling his lips back to my own.
Even our orgasms weren't as intense as usual. Sure, it still felt amazing, but it was almost like a new feeling, a new beginning. It just felt good.
Soon enough we were lying beside eachother in bed, rose petals strewn all over the floor by now. The lights had been completely shut off, the sound of the rain against the window the only sound in the room.
"I did the dishes," I heard him whisper.
"Th-"
"Cross my heart and hope to die, you didn't have to ask, you don't have to say anything, I was just thinking about you, wow, I don't mind, I noticed, I want you to be happy."
He eventually stopped spitting off sentences, and I looked up at him.
He smiled down at me. "You still don't get what those mean?"
I shook my head. "When are you going to tell me?"
I grabbed his hand and pressed a kiss to the back of it.
"I won't even have to tell you," he whispered, "it's probably just going to come to you. Just like that."
I sighed.
He smiled down at me. He pressed a kiss to my forehead. "Start thinking now."
