LATE SEPTEMBER

Bailey strode up the hall full of confidence on her way to first, looking for one person in particular. And when she spotted her, she grinned and bounded over to her. Jess jumped in surprised as the Matthews girl clamped her hands on her waist, laughing when she realised who it was. She had met Jess when she was asked to show her around the school for an orientation first week back, clicking instantly with the girl and quick to became somewhat close with her.
'Jessica, my love,' She smiled.
'Bailey, my lover,' Jess replied.
The girl chuckled as she linked her arm in Jess', walking up the hall with her.
'Where are we going?' The Davis girl asked.
'Well, this beautiful new friendship that is blossoming-' Bailey started.
'Stop, you sound like a cheerleader.'
'Maybe I was thinking of trying something new.'
'You, a cheerleader?'
'Yeh, I can't really see it either.'
Both girls laughed, drawing attention to themselves, but they didn't care.
'So, what's up?' Jess asked.
'Just thought I'd see how you were? How're you're settling in?' Bailey shrugged as she unlinked her arm from the girl's.
'Yeh, I'm good.'
'Good. Because, there's a party this weekend and thought you'd like to come and meet some of my friends?'
'Who's party?'
'Drew and I's. We throw one every year at the start of the school year, to psych people for what's yet to come, I guess.'
'Yeh, sure. I'll come. I'll have to speak to my parents.'
'Yeh, that's chill. Just let me know.'
Bailey smiled and went to head into the classroom on her right, calling out to Justin as she walked in.
'Hey, Bailey,' Jess called as she caught her arm.
'Yeh?' She stated as she spun around.
'Can anyone come? To the party?'
Her eyes flickered to Hannah as she stood awkwardly behind the girl, 'All are welcome.'
'Ok. Thanks.'
Bailey turned and threw her bag at Justin, before she fist bumped Scott as she passed him. She hugged Zach from behind, taking the seat beside him; catching her bag as Justin threw it at her. Though as she turned to face the front, two hands covered her eyes, a burly laugh coming from Drew's mouth as he stood behind her.
